And when this cake is made every piece is made by individual chefs, it is baked to perfection and decorated with the upmost care. Each individual piece is a work of art. But when they are put together each piece is of different colors, of different art styles, and even of different weights. The end product looks horrible, BUT some parts aren't done so even though the end product is bad you feel that adding more layers will eventually fix the mess you have already created.
Unfortunately this cake has to be presentable, but as any Baker would know fixing a mistake is very hard. As you attempt to fix it the colors start blending and becoming disgustingly ugly, the cake begins to rip, and the bottom layers begin to collapse. A mess...
How do you make this work in the end? You throw it away, make a new one, with proper communication and move on.
