Milita tanks shouldnt be able to fit 2 damage mods and a railgun (sica) that can take down skilled tankers and the Milita Railgun shouldnt do alot of damage either nerf it or i will

Give it up Doc. You won't win this qrguement. The TANKOPHOBES like their no sp advantage with teh present mil tank problem.
They don't want tank sp to mean anything and they don't want tank sp to get in the way of their infanty sp.
They love that they can easily feel "skilled" and badass with one simple tactic of calling down a sica with a rail and sitting on a hill or just rolling up on you.
With skills trained you can do good with a mil weapon. This tank problem requires no skills. The problems otherwise are modules that are only differentiated between by time on and off. Nothing like infantry mods. Then the rail was made ungodly powerful with a quick, full power RoF. The way they were before was just fine and they fit their role as long to med rsnge vehicles. Missiles now mean nothing due to this change.

I would like to introduce you to starter/militia dropsuits. They kill protosuits worth between 50X-infinity more (seriously, a decent milita suit goes from 0isk to what...4k isk?).
How come I do not hear everyone complaining about that? Oh yeah, that is because only people wanting god-mode complain about getting their 300k tanks blown up by a 80k tank.
Seriously though, 1 vs 1 a standard tank destroys militia tanks, you just need to be aware of your surroundings. (like idk, let someone else ride in your tank and watch the map for you?)
EDIT: Also, a gunnlogi with 3 damage mods and a proto-rail 2 shots just about any militia tank I have seen.

And a rail gun shouldn't be out dpsing a blaster and a missile launcher shouldn't be out ranging a railgun.

Shield's and Armor must be maxed out along with at least level three in fittings .
Can I suggest , when your facing tankers and their using militia ... kill them first and see if they keep dropping tanks , if so then you know what you are faced with .. if they start dropping standard tanks then you know that you must have ruffled something and caused them to drop the act and step up their game .
I would face militia like I'm facing an advanced tank and that's with eyes wide open and guns blazing .
Most look and say to themselves , " Oh a militia tank " and really that's the first mistake .
I had one blast me with double damage but they had backup riding with them , the other tanks that were in my squad was doing their own thing , If you ride with backup it shouldn't be that hard to take them down .
Just think of most that are riding with militia as having double damage mods , reper's and hardeners .
You just don't know .
That should help the focus .
Stop asking for tiercide , your killing variety and the fun of this game at the same dam time .

Until CCP changes the skill tree for vehicle upgrades this will remain an issue for vehicle users.
Currently the only benefit from skilling in to armor/shield upgrades is that you get access to the better gear.
It does not give a bonus to your over all EHP.
My milita frontline suit can kill a proto assault/ logi/ heavy/ and so on no problem. Why should it be any different for your tank?

I hear this all the time, and it's total ****. Yeah I can kill a proto suit in my BPO, 2 ******* clips later. The pro suit just needs to land a few to drop me. Element of surprise my ass, maybe with a shotgun. But I hear those are OP as **** now.

Actually the fitting's optimizer let's you add extra HP's so you can create more combo's but that problem is more or less a slot layout .. I'm sure the advanced tanks will be more noticeable .
How much can you expect to do with four to five slot's on a HAV ???

Tanks shouldn't be able to kill avers if infantry can't kill tanks with flux grenades and an ar like we could in 1.6 Make av own all vehicles or get rid of the shield recharge damage threshold for small arms.

The only thing I would change with Militia Tanks is removing a High or Low from the Soma or Sica respectively. The idea is to teach people which tank they want to use. As it stands, it is simply better to use a Sica with Double Damage, Militia Plate, and Hardener to take out any other tank. It allows it to be a "for one fight" armor tank very easily because shield tanks are easier to fit. This means it is a reinforced glass cannon. Try fitting two damage mods on a Soma; it eats 260 CPU of the 428 it has.
A Sica should be about the High slots and a Soma should be about the Low slots; why do they have the same number of Highs and Lows?
