Gal Scout is not an assault, Sorry but you should get Caldari Scout for 1 reason: at lvl 5 of precision skill, you put 2 complex precision passive scanners, after that you can watch without issues Cloacked Gal Scouts.
Gal Scout bonus pretty sucks sorry for this opinion.

I have all my electronics lvl 5 and Proto gal scout is all I have so it kinda bugs me when I can't a have a cardio reg plates and a rep. I don't run 3 plates, I run a rep and a biotic and a plate or 2 basic plates. My scout is made for long term engagements, and I don't favor the shotgun. but it is not right for CCP to break any suit since I never run advanced tech I rely on basic, so I still find it hard to grasp them breaking a suit again... Hunter warfare like range amps and profile damps, along with biotics. Besides I like challenging myself, I had my shotgun phase a few updates ago I just try different things and if I like it I keep it for a month or so and then move on, I like trying different things and challenging myself. If I wanted to dominate all the time I would run a brick tank gal scout with a combat rifle and SMG. right now I am running a ScR and BP on a stealth runner scout. All I want is my slots fixed so we can combat caldari scouts to a degree. Simple as that. "In rust you trust, so in rust you shall die."
