I lost 8 proto suits to my ******* shotgun not doing any damage.
Do you know how it feels when a heavy stands still, you pump 5 shots into him, ONE HITS, and then he turns around and blaps you?
Fix the ******* thing, how do you make it worse with every single build?

I've had it happen before, but I at MOST lost 1-2 suits like that, not ******* 8.
It's like in that particular match the shotgun decided "**** you, I ain't gonna work".

/rage mode off If this was a PC, I feel for you, a little bit. If this was a pub, karma I guess? Wealth redistribution working as intended. The loss of your 8 proto suits probably netted an extra 20k per member of the other team. You should feel good about paying your taxes to help the poor.
Hey, what am I going to do with my crap tons of ISK when nobody plays PC? 
Besides, the enemy team was proto stomping with sentinels and scouts, I started the match as a Galmando G-l, got annoyed as **** and switched to scout.

/rage mode off Assuming all your shots actually hit -- were you fighting a Cal Sentinel? I skilled both proto Amarr and Cal Sentinels; in my Amarr suits, takes about 2-3 shotgun shots to put me down, and in my Cal suit, about 4-6. The reason is because the Cal Sentinel's bonus is 25% damage reduction bonus to blaster-hybrid type weapons... and the shotty is in that category. Guess what suit I've been running around in pretty much exclusively this build? I tell ya, mowing down surprised invisi-scouts trying to put two in the back of my head leaves me downright parched. Any chance I can get another glass of those delicious tears before my next match?  TLDR: Working as intended. Use a BK-42 next time.
A. The resist is 15%, not 25%
B. No heavy can survive 5 shotgun blasts
C. I watched the damage bar, it didn't do ANYTHING until the 5th shot
D. It happened multiple times that match, against a Gal Heavy, Amarr Heavy, Cal Heavy and a Min Commando.

back in chrome I ran a logi with a shotgun (lol those were the days), even then I never had an issue. I know other people might be having this issue, but I honestly think it all stems from connection speeds. The slower your internet the more hit detection issues you are gonna have.

I'm paying for a priority "Gamer" package as well, that makes sure I get the best pings possible outside of my country.
Shotgun hit detection issues are there, even if you don't notice them, since the shotgun has 12 pellets you can often do SOME damage and think that everything is fine, when in reality 4-5 pellets missed because of hit detection.

I know right?
Because that was my situation that match until I switched to a scout
I started as a GalMando g-1.
Then I saw they brought proto sentinels and proto scouts, got spawn camped, and said "**** it".
