I played the Games, Vampire and WORLD of darkness and I loved them. I d totally have played it.
Edit: but if the cancellation of wod means a better dust, then I m happy this Way.

I don't touch anything with vampires.
It almost made me trash Skyrim, but I was already into it.
The original Lost Boys was the least homoerotic vampire thing I've ever seen, and it was still a little fruity.
And the Vampire Masquerade RPG nerds back in the day.... ugh.

There probably would have been a subscription, so no. People shell out so much money on every reprint or side venture in that franchise. The first Rage (collectible card game) was extraordinarily pricy for the content.

The wife and I were planning on playing it, but chances are it would have suffered from the immaturity and douchery of its players would have held the game back. I loved the idea of a "strict" VotM setting where if you ****** up your character died, to bad, so sad. However, it probably have lead to the game being more niche than being a vampire MMO where you have to be turned by someone else would have been already.
I really want another gaming experience like VotM: Bloodlines was. That game, for all its bugs, is still my favorite RPG of all time. If someone could take that sort of style of VotM game and combine it with some modern open world gameplay it woudl be great. But we all know CCP is not the company for that, hopefully they can find a studio that would be good at something like that and sell the IP to them or work out some sort of partnership deal. Other studios parcel out work to other devs why can't CCP?
Most tankers are like sand people. They frighten easily, but will quickly return...and in greater numbers.

I love cWoD, I like the rule but hate the story of nWoD, therefor I love the Translation series. I'm a bg fan of Micheal Goodwin and the stuff he wrote for WW.
EVE is pretty much the only pay to play MMO I've ever stuck with for more than 2 months, but that's been a whole lot easier when other people pay for my account subscription (PLEX is awesome, spent so many billions on it).
I would have scrounged up the money to pay for this MMO.
Oh well. I'll just have to settle playing their pen and paper games :(
