I don't play this game anymore (haven't for a long time), but time to time I pass through the forums to see what's "new" in the game. Do you read? Maybe not cause I never said Id stop playing. Just hoping for a better build of the game.
I read perfectly well, but you're an idiot if you expect what you're asking for lol

Sure, the cloak is/was cool and all, and having all the racial suits is pretty neat; but quite frankly this game can no longer sustain itself. Yesterday was the first day In a little over a week that I decided to play TWO matches. The framerate drops, lag, same repetitive gameplay, same scenery, etc. just made me disgusted. I said to myself, "I can't believe with allllll the time I've spent into this game it's still pretty much the same game." It's almost like taking a broken down car and fixing the exterior as to make it SEEM brand-spanking-new, and yet it's STILL just a broken down car -_-. This is my opinion on DUST.
Will I stop playing all together? Probably not. I'm too far invested. Yet, not even these accelerated SP events, or really any event in general, will make me go back to playing actively. I literally just sign on for my Consecutive SP bonus (6,000 sp) play maybe 1-3 matches and sign off for the rest of the day. I find it sad.
At this point i really don't know what to say about this game anymore. I don't know what would even save it. Yes, a part of me hopes that the Next New Build (NOT Version/Update) will greatly improve where Uprising failed. But with May/June fast approaching I doubt that CCP has spent enough time and effort doing so.
Anyway, Those are my thoughts.
This describes exactly my feeling. I also come in for daily bonus. Once a week I look into the market just to see new aurum stuff.
I WILL NEVER INVEST REAL MONEY INTO SOMETHING I CAN LOOSE IN ONE KILL!!! Even if it costs 1 aurum.
Maybe I play 1 or two matches.
If I get a disconnect I am done for the day.
Since month I have not capped the SP's and do not ask me when I bought the last booster. |

If you didn't you wouldn't reply to it hmm? Anyway, this SP event is ok, but honestly more grinding for three weekly SP caps in one? If CCP raise the match earning from 5x-10x(as I don't use active boosters) then I wouldn't mind seeing the same maps over and over and over... And getting proto stomped by cloak/shotgun squads and proto heavy squads... Anyone see a pattern? More of the same... |

not gonna lie, the quality of trolling in this thread is far beyond sub par.
Are we losing our touch?
Deciphering the truth from a web of lies is far easier than you'd think. Especially if you're a bureaucrat.

Don't worry. If you get burned out on Dust, take a break! I know how you feel. One of the double-sp events some time ago I thought I could power through. I even plugged in one of my Omega boosters for it. But no, that didn't do the trick, and I ended up with a wasted Omega booster. (I think this was the event during the "Heavy RR" phase in 1.7.) Sometimes, it's good to take a break. Come back refreshed. Dust works *for* you in this case, since you'll have SP waiting for you when you return!
Very truth. I stop playing dust like 4 months or so for reasons i dont remember now(game itself i think) but i kept following them on tweeter by that time i had lots of SP, i was lost like the first time i played this game, i didnt know where to spent the SP too many things too many changes, new things to learn. Then 2mill clone challenge, so i give it a try and here i am. So i know that feeling too, take a break i will see you in a couple of months.

Isnt that how its meant to be played?
I can empathize with OPs frustrations, but I still believe there could be great fun if development continues and adresses the problems that are crucial. Like getting more people into dust.
