I see peeps come on here, talk through their butt cheeks, and then get a going over by other similar peeps. This is a complex game, but there isnt anything supporting it. These forum goers say what they think is true, because they dont know any different.
Imagine a new player... do you think he knows anything about stacking penelties? HIt boxes? Bullet spread? Resistances?...
Where does it say it in the game? And this is the simple stuff NEEDED before you can start talking about ideas, or suggestions, or on discussions.
Finding this information, when you know its something to know, is also a complete minefield because there isnt anything offical. What is, is out of date. And of course theres the mountain of topics full of info made from the noise of which your moaning about...
The whole forums a mess because theres no foundation. Its all speculation, guesses, interpretation, and trolls.
It does tell you everything you need to know on each module and item in the game. There are also tips that randomly generate above the info in the fitting screen.
Anyway there's a thread about removing squads from pubs to stop proto stomping, game is doomed.

Thread after thread is just a bunch of random statements with poor logic and in most cases has nothing to do with actually problem in question. Regarding the DUST forum the only thing I think is lame is Proto-Asses leaping on Newbies and calling them trolls or scrubs or whatever.. If a newbie asks for help you really should be helping them - without a good entry point this game will not survive and all of us should do what it takes to keep DUST going because it could be beautiful - instead of just pretty which is what it currently is.. If you're hating on a newbie or mocking them for having the temerity to not be stuffed full of SP yet then you're a d***
