After all these events anyone who thought even halfway about how to spend their SP would have enough for PRO suits and decent weapons, or Core skills and armor/shield mods with a decent weapon. Hell even newbies would have a decent amount of SP stacked up from the events.
I'd like all my SP in proto equipment back now that i'm a heavy but I, like everyone else, need to live with the mistake that is wasting SP.

Don't assume i'm dense or a scrub, thank you.
On to the point though in 1.8 CCP changed how the dropsuits would work and we got our SP back in dropsuit command. They changed some weapons ( nothing very big ), how equipment works ( which i'd like SP for but eh anyway ), and of course damage mods. Aside from that no core skills were changed, the weapons still received the same passive buff they always did and TTK was lowered around the board so rifles didn't change drastically enough for us to be getting SP back for them.
My point is in 1.8 nothing, short of dropsuits, changed enough to the point where you have to change how you play the game. Unless your ASSuming that in 2.0 EVERYTHING will be changed to that extent, which at this point-in-time NONE of us know.
Maybe they'll add more of the racial weapons and vehicles and maybe we'll have racial everything in which case we still shouldn't get a FULL respec (which is what this threads about btw) It'll mean we -might- ( or should depending on who you ask ) get isolated respecs like we did for dropsuits.
Even then by the time these thing roll out people should have fixed up their core skills thanks to, guess what?, the SP events which have been throwing SP at free players and boosters alike.
Tl;DR stop ASSuming that all the core skills will change in 2.0. If we get all the racial toys then that might = isolated respecs but not full respec. |
