This is...the most amazing weapon ever. No prof and I can knock out heavies with it. Tried using a gek with prof 4 and it came nowhere close.
Still love my shotty, but man is this thing amazing.

Just don't try it on the racial suit that the weapon is made for, every single Minmatar suit is fubar.

Can't help it. It's like a super SMG.
I wouldn't wanna go up vs a rail at range, but I wouldn't be shocked if I beat it.

It is a fun gun, but you have to bring a hive with you because it runs out of ammo super fast. I still prefer the Shotgun though for the high alpha. Killing quickly is preferable so they have less chance to locate and shoot you. |

Now, we're talking. This melts heavies but runs out of ammo often, i still enjoy my SMG and shotgun.

It's only OP when you can land 80-90% of your bullets... Which would be impossible if DUST's Aim-Assist didnt work with DUST's Hit detection system to let it do that.
Same problem that we are experiencing with the shotgun right now.
The best marksman in the world couldnt hit moving targets with 80% accuracy but the Average DUST mercenary thats been playing for 2 weeks can.
This is why DUST is boring as **** right now. |

I use the CR and the ACR in some situations.
Im honest. i love high RoF weapons/
But considering im a SCOUT, and i dont really need the range, i prefer my Six Kin SMG/ISHUKUNE SMG.....

Please, please fight like the BK-42 has rail rifle range against someone using a RR and see how it goes for you. Its a great weapon, but saying it has the range of a RR is a gross over exageration.
Most tankers are like sand people. They frighten easily, but will quickly return...and in greater numbers.

Just so you know Cody there will be moments with the ACR where you will have wished you brought your shotty. Decent, proto, assault logi primarily and other scouts. But, as you know, I've used my CR as my primary scout weapon since you got me into Gal scouting.
Most tankers are like sand people. They frighten easily, but will quickly return...and in greater numbers.

Sidearms all the way.... as much as the CR is a great scout weapon (and just a great weapon in general), I also still prefer the pistol / SMG combo. The SMG doesn't have the ROF or range, and some of the higher tier ones have ridiculous fitting cost compared to the CR, but they do have a pretty nice ammo pool.
I haven't used the Ishukone yet (ever, actually) and am looking forward to it.

Yeah, the BK-42 is pretty freaking awesome. It works better these days against heavies in general because it's bonus is to armor, while the GEK's bonus is to shield.
I love the thing both as a logi and a scout. Still need to feather it though, very easy to run out of ammo if you are not careful.

Oh, yeah. People think cloaked shotgun scouts are bad. Cloaked assault combat rifles are the worst. Much more annoying. Especially if they are brick tanking and doing the little side to side dance to avoid every thing you fire at them. |
