This post above is a bit misleading--Aurum is a decent way to support the game. The items you get are treated like everything else, which means if you buy something to use as an exploit and they fix it, they have fixed it along with everybody else. CCP has returned aurum for items they removed before. But my thought on aurum itself is that it is good for testing: You buy an item to try it out. Get 10-20 of something, and steadily use it up. Find out how it works for you. Then skill into it if you like it. Boosters are the best use of aurum. I have lots. I regret nothing. :) Hi! There are some changes caused by rebalancing the game, and some items get changed, but for the most part when you buy an item in DUST you donGÇÖt have to wary about it being replaced by a higher level version of the same item a week or month later as you would in WOW where a new Arena Season or Raid release makes everything you worked to get obsolete. Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.

(just not ALL things. Like, nova knives )
