about heavy LAV tactics
I use this tactic for several reasons and none is to use for scrub tactic.
Ask anyone who have dealt with me. I will drive my LAV at you, jump out mow you down, see a red charge them, mow them down, and then if I am being pot shot at I will jump in my LAV and storm right at you.
2. I use my LAV to patrol the map and if I catch you I will stop and fill you with lead. It is like the police catching a perp. I see you I blast you.
3. My team is not trying. So because I am slow and there is no uplinks I have to use my LAV to get to you.
4. I only run away if I run out of ammo or a few more reds show up and I am vastly out numbered. I am doing the smart thing and retreating and ask most. I usually jump in my lav, go out so far, do a circle and charge right back in like a madman. I try and run you over and I try and take a few of you with me before I die.
These are a few reason why I use the LAV heavy combo. Its not a scrub tactic, it is like a cloak just beware of your surrounding. |

I only use this tactic with a Forge Gun, gotta keep up with them tanks somehow.

With the title of the thread I would at first have been inclined to believe you... But I don't think I can trust SPACE SYPHILIS. I'd rather not catch that.
Dropships need a buff. This way they can stop derping everywhere . ;_;

AV grenades need to pop LAVs again. 1 std AV pops a militia LAV. 1 ADV pops a STD LAV. End of all forms of murder taxi.

I never understood the hatred and vitriol over LAV + Heavy. Is it because they are able to be more mobile because they have a vehicle? I never hear anyone complain about Scouts or Logistics that can fly because of Dropships.

It's because, when people complain about HMG heavies' huge EHP pools and massive DPS, the (perfectly valid) response is that it's balanced by the heavy's low speed, lack of equipment/scans, and the HMG's short range.
When you take that heavy and put it in a LAV, suddenly it's the fastest thing on the map short of an ADS, it has access to a scanner without needing a teammate, and it can dictate range with impunity. Thanks to BPO LAVs, they can have all this for barely a standard suit's worth of ISK.
Now do you see where the rage comes from? No other class can make up for all of its shortcomings so easily and cheaply. Scouts will always be squishy, logis lack speed, have mediocre firepower, and suffer from expensive suits due to equipment, and assaults, well, never excel at anything. But heavies, which have the best firepower and the best tank, can simply hop in a LAV and their balancing factors evaporate.

Yeah, but right now CCP is rewarding scrub tactics only because they can't develop their game in a timely manner so scrubs justify the tactics as if that is the intent. It is not and CCP has managed to prove that in time with fixes when something ends up being the go to thing that gives someone too much of a one up, esp if it goesd against the idea of something like the heavy not being mobile as its weakness.

Pretty much OP is saying this:
"I am a scrub. This is how I make sure I get good KD and not help my team. Don't hate me, I'm doing logical scrubbing."
The reason why most matches are lost are is because of players like you chickening out.
*Btw, scout shotties with cloak got more back than scrubs like you.
