In past builds armor repping nano hives would give you instant reps, now it seams to take a second to start to work? |

Yes, there is a short delay when the nanohive hits the ground until when it deploys, then a 1 sec delay when you step into the field before it starts to rep..

There is a delay of some kind now. I think this was done to try to de-incentivize the practice of spamming dozens of nanohives in a small area.

If you want to get technical, armor rep modules rep at the end of the cycle instead of the beginning of it, typically they run a 1-second cycle in Dust, so the delay is in line with traditional EVE/Dust armor mechanics.
Like my ideas?

Very true!! Wonder how that works with reppers on drop suits? |

It's the same, though more noticeable if you go from having full armor to missing some, since I believe the cycles don't run if you have full armor. Therefor once you take damage it takes about 1 second for the first cycle of armor reps to complete and give you HP back. If you're already missing armor, the cycles are still running so the delay feels less noticable. That's how I understand it.
