I was wondering why it felt easier to hit with, and then it hit me. The ACR is the best rifle because it stunlocks like a HMG.
CCP, I don't care if it makes hit detection a bit worse. Get rid of this stupid snare effect! It's asinine.

The ACR r@pes everything. Good gun it just goes through ammo like no other, still prefer the regular Burst variant though.
I agree though the stunlock is probably one of the most annoying things about this game as well as the sprint glitch when you're about to take off only to go like 1m/s/ |

ugg reset wrote:stunlock? Getting shot slows your movement speed down significantly. From what I can tell, it's more or less a static amount per hit, so weapons with high ROF cause much more of it. The term stunlock comes from MMOs like WoW, where some classes can maintain continuous stuns for several seconds, holding the enemy in place and helpless while they pummel them.

It's for all weapons, but it doesn't seem to be balanced around ROF. Projectile weapons all have highest-in-class ROF, so it's most noticeable with them.

The HMG doesn't have any "snare" effect, I assure you. Nor has anyone ever definitively shown any weapon to. There is however a bug that will cause your sprint speed to suddenly be incredibly slow; not sure what causes this, but it seems to generally go away if you stop sprinting, then sprint again.
The "physical impulses", according to all my sources (including the CPM), refers to the "ragdoll" effect seen on dead bodies that was added in 1.7. Pretty sure you're either experiencing lag or the above mentioned sprint speed bug.
Not just a laymen, but the laymen.

That was actually the rag dolls.
This has been around for a long time; we've just not had anything that could capitalise on it; SMG had too short a range, HMG was either a laserbeam or an instagib (Uprising HMG vs Chromosome HMG) and ACR is in practically everybody's hands these days.

I like my CR. But remove the stunlock from ALL weapons and let you actually HAVE to HIT them.
Added physical impulses, how about added more scrub impulses + aim assist. But I don't have AA on so I guess if I did reds would stunlock more.
But I like my GLU-5 & Burst ARs better. THEY were the first CR if you think about it. Assault CR is the full auto AR, regular CR is the Burst AR variant. IDK about breach variant though. Oh, the breach AR is like the classic RR. I'll stick with those. More expensive more skill to use.
My suit gets nerfed cause of you AGAIN and you wanna ban me cause you don't know how to balance?!
