I actually love #1 as long as my team is still doing the vast majority of the killing. One of the reasons I chose the logi role is because I'm ADHD so I want to always be doing something. I've also racked up some serious WP on those matches where I am the only logi on my team and I still get 5+ kills (and it feels awesome to be in that frantic focused mode). i hate when i want to logi and my team already is dominately logis. SP events bring this out because all it takes to be a logi for a week is lvl 1 on the same race as your assault suit or a dren min logi.

I'm usually support, which to me means "ammo, anyone need ammo? I brought a few extra crates with me so if you need ammo... oh, and some first aid kits I can huck at you, but I hope you read your "how to close a bullet wound" manual in basic because that's the best I can do" Adv logi, hives, rep hives(kinda, they still do ammo, k-17 dr) and an injector alongside a gun to cover while everyone else reloads. at proto, probably going to throw on a scanner. Also, I just figured something out. caldari logis fit perfectly with caldari heavies. Because once you amp your shields enough(to the point where you can get behind cover before they break reliably) all you'll really ever need is ammo, not so much reps. If you hear the words "WORTH IT!" look about, something hilarious just happened.

One thing I don't see is having to make the choice of A) continuing to rep my squadmate sacrificing myself or B) turn and save myself leaving them to die. 90% of the time choosing A will end up with the squadmate running off and leaving me to respawn because no one else carries needles.

In that kind of situation I switch to my Rifle and do my best to kill the enemy as quickly as possible. Most of the time the eemy is so focused on the person you're repping that they don't expect you to start shooting them in the face. It's always nice to have a scout in the squad with a needle though in case the logi goes down, but in desperate situations I will absolutely run away. If you can lure the enemy away from the people you need to pick back up it will buy you some time to get back around to them. It's why I like running dampeners and/or a cloak on my logi. It may be faster, but the stamina regen is atrocious compared to the Minmatar, and is far more effective when you can full sprint after only waiting three seconds. It's the best flanking heavy when used right.

I was the fourth logi, there were two heavies, who were actually logis in disguise. Good times. Caldari Girls Do It Better.

I more or less haven't run logi since 1.8 came out (and only played 1.8 for 4-5 days). That would be nice. I wonder how much that had to do with the commando/sidearm event. I speced into a min commando and obviously ran it the vast majority of the time. The x5 WP sp event will be more telling.
