I am conducting a survey. What is your biggest pet peeve in dust / update 1.8. If you had to pick one thing that makes you rage quit or get butthurt the most about, what is it?
WAIT! BEFORE YOU GO AND POST PLEASE READ!
Please only post one pet peeve. Also, try to be as specific as possible. For example, "Dear Boot Booter, my biggest pet peeve is bugs", No WRONG! Which bug is the worst for you. Example 2, "Dear Boot Booter, my biggest pet peeve is when you kill me". Yes, good bunny, that is a very specific pet peeve. Example 3, nah just joking... You've got the idea.
Now, I will post the tallied results every couple of days to see what one thing is really annoying the **** out of mercs. If you want to include a description of how to fix your pet peeve, please do. Nonsensical remarks and non specific peeves won't be tallied... But I know you'll put them anyway. Just a fair warning. The idea here is to show what things need to be fixed and in what order. Hopefully we get something useful and hopefully the Devs can use it to help "sort through the noise" on the forums.
I'll kick it off with my biggest pet peeve.
Sprint glitch. You try running but for whatever reason you can only move at the speed of 1/4 sloths per hour. You must stop sprinting, crouch, jump, or wait to fix it. It often happens when I pull out equipment.

Being chased by a group of scouts. Once flanked from all sides then OHKed by a Creo shotty, then chased by a group of scouts and a couple meds then when I ran out of stamina got my face slashed open with a pair of basic Novas.

Framerate lag.
Server lag is bearable because I can expect there to be issues occasionally on a network of servers run worldwide, but when the game that's run locally on my PS3 starts to stutter and run poorly because of lack of optimization or what have you, it drives me nuts.

My biggest pet peeve is people posting 854 threads on the same topic, instead of using on of the hundred other threads about how Scouts+Cloaks+Shotguns are OP because they once got killed by a player using that combination.

I wish they implemented friendly fire in cases like this as the cu*t who revived me would taste lead.
If only there was a button you could press to choose if you wanted saving or not... |

I think my biggest pet peeve of 1.8 is getting to the hack point 1st at the start of a dom match with my minmatar scout and a complex code breaker and my passive skills still havent kicked in. d d d d d d d d d d dead. |

The fact that it only took a year to make isk completely meaningless to a large portion of the playerbase. It took much longer for that to happen in eve.

My biggest pet peeve is Bunny Hopping!
I wish jumping was removed entirely but I know how important it is to scouts, so make it either use all of your stamina, or consecutive jumps within about 3-5 seconds little tiny baby hops.
And no firing in mid air.. maybe..

My biggest pet peeve is how Milita HAV essentially make putting SP into the Tanking role and class meaningless.
I can quite well understand the need to allow players to develop their own styles and means of play by allowing them to make use of weapons and equipment before putting their SP into the skill and unlocking the normal variant. However in terms of MLT HAV you essentially get an insanely powerful unit (yes Tanks are powerful units I admit it) for no SP and very little ISK which can effectively counter and make a mockery of the purpose of putting SP into HAV based skills.
That's not to say I have trouble with MLT HAV. I don't. I love seeing Tank Spam of MLT Spam. It makes my day. But when I make use of MLT HAV....I wonder why I ever put SP into tanks when I can achieve the same or better results than a Madrugar or Gunlogi.
What it feels like, instead of HAV becoming progressively more powerful or functional, that STD HAV allow you more room to **** up than MLT Tanks do. This to me isn't right.
HAV operation should feel tactical, how and when to activate modules, fitting tanks for functionality in certain roles over others, having the weaknesses of powerful short term reps and hardenings vs permas hardening and reps, and more importantly a player should feel like they are progressing from one tier to another.
When I can double damage/damage-harden a Sica and lay waste to a tanker with vastly more invested SP and ISK wise...the victory feels hollow and weak.

I think that's why iv not logged onto my tanker char for about 4 months properly. I don't think tanks are op, they are just too easy to pilot now and you don't have to time mods or anything and they are all the fking same now. People used to name their tanks and sht but now meh.

I died because scrambler pistol clip size bonuses were not applied and I spawed without full health and then I got reamed by a SMG while reloading and then I got pissed at the developers for not performing regression testing and introducing new bugs into the game and then I realized that any time I get irritated in life it is usually because of CCP programmers and then I wrote this .
So yeah, basically bonuses not being applied.
TL;DR BONUSES NOT BEING APPLIED !!!!!!!!!! What the hell?
