Holy Rail Rifles, Batman! These things are awesome! Free triage points from multiple sources and an easy resource to stay alive in a firefight!
Bring on your grind fest, CCP! I'm ready for you!
The only dark side is that now I'm brick tanking my Minmatar Scout... I'd say somebody shoot me, but my armor repairs too quickly.

When I want to farm WP or win a match, the second thing I do (after uplinks in high places) is start spewing nanohives. I'll often kill myself if there's no convenient supply depot, just to get these things down in a timely fashion. It's not cheap, but I cannot recommend this strategy highly enough to anyone with the SP and ISK to do so. Every match where I'm actually trying, this is my spawn order:
First suit: M-1 logi 2x basic plate STD AR R-9 uplink N-11/A uplink P-13 uplink
Second suit: M-1 Logi 2x basic plate STD AR Wiyrkomi hive Allotek hive Ishukone Gauged hive
Third suit: M-1 Logi 2x basic plate STD AR K17/D hive Ishukone Flux hive X-3 hive
Then switch to my combat suit of choice and get to it.

If your team is half-decent, you force the enemy to choose: flux the equipment and die to a hail of bullets during the animation, or fight your team's equipment-boosted sentinels? It's still valuable. Also, only competent players bring flux grenades- many people naively ignore equipment, because they don't realize how incredibly powerful it is.

meh they cost too much ISK. I could use them but i prefer my advanced nanohive. And most of the time i dont really need more then 2 nanohives per match. Everything else is just overkill.

Choose?

Seriously though, having tier 5 nanocircuitry is a must for all players. So useful, needles, hives galore. I would say this is only barely trumped by prototype uplinks due to the shoddy timers of the lower tiers now. Before 1.8 I always pushed that equipment up first...

If these are his disposable fits, to just lay down equipment, he's probably using the 'SEVER' M-1 Logi BPO to save ISK 'Dren' because I'm a huge nerd, plus it doesn't have skill requirements, so I can get three equip slots without spending SP, but yeah it's a BPO. Not that saving 3,000 ISK really matters when I'm committing suicide with over 100k in nanohives on my suit...
