1. AV vs. Vehicles balanced such that STD AV is on par with STD vehicles, and PRO AV on par with PRO vehicles. A fully skilled PRO AV'er should be able to wreck a STD vehicle with STD mods, no questions asked. ...also, ADV & PRO vehicle hulls. ...possibly balance this by allowing a certain # of units on the field...say allow 3 tanks in Ambush. STD is worth 1, ADV worth 2, PRO worth 3. ...don't hate, I just came up with that on the fly.
2. Swarms buffed. If in doubt, check out Judge's video. Hardeners were nerfed...but I still think swarms could use a bit of love. I'd also not mind if a variant with a reduced lock on time and reduced damage were introduced.
3. Heavies locked to heavy weapons in their H slot. No questions asked.
4. MLT gear removed from the game completely.
There is a bit more, but these are at the forefront of my mind.

I like the new Swarm variant you listed.
I agree that Sentinels and frames should ONLY be able to equip heavy weapons. There are now Commandos that do a better job.
I disagree with the removal of militia gear. There should be MORE militia gear, in my opinion. They're there so that players can try before they buy. Most of the time, they aren't that bad compared to the STD variants. |

Sounds wonderful but almost everyone in the game already has proto AV....which would mean under this model the only tanks worth dropping are proto ones which no doubt if introduced AV would ***** and moan about saying tankers are spamming proto (just to survive the proto AV being deployed) and that our HAV would again need a nerf......
In the end..... you already have this model.
MLT Tanks are essentially STD tanks and ADV and STD AV can lay waste to em
STD Tanks are ADV and Proto lays waste to them......

I like the idea, we need a more functional AV vs Vehicle solution but for the idea to work we would probably need gear/vehicle meta lvl restrictions e.g. STD lvl battles etc |

If a proper tutorial is introduced, there will be no need to have any militia gear, at least not for that purpose. I'm tired of baddies grabbing a MLT heavy frame, throwing a RR on it and proceeding to wreck everyone with <750 HP strictly because they need that HP cushion to survive.
It will also prevent the spamming of MLT tanks and dropships...a roughly ~100-150k ISK fit able to destroy 250k+ ISK suits like my dog destroys wet toilet paper.

I think swarms could do with a damage buff. But they should get a tracking ability nerf or make them laser guided.

Right now swarms devastate ADS(Forge guns still a little buggy and it's really hard to hit the ADS if it's circling you). It requires 2 to 3 swarms(or forge gunners) depending on skill to take out a tank. I personally think it's working the way it's supposed to because 1 Forge gunner or swarm launcher shouldn't be able to destroy a tank by themselves. It requires players to squad up, have av capabilities and work together.
I also think tanks do what they are supposed to do because it takes some of the attention off of the objective or your allies, giving your allies more of a chance to take the objective. |
