So I just got a new Nexus 7 for my b-day, and came across this game/app yesterday, and I cannot put the stupid thing down. Was wondering if any of you mercs play? Was thinking about starting an Alliance for dust bunnies, if somebody hasn't already done so.
It's basically a real-time space-based RTS, with turn-based elements in places, working off a similar FTP model that Dust uses,, making it's money on microtransactions. You start with your home planet, mine resources, build factories and spaceships and defences, then build colony ships and grab other planets, while fighting other players. It's also a massive waste of time, and I've frittered away hours that I could have spent doing something worthwhile, like learning a new language, spending some time at the gym, or solving world peace. I feel bad after playing it, and so will you.
Any current players?
