Good riddance.
Their development was a perfect example of how not to run a production studio. A classic example of CCP's inefficacy and wastefulness. And the fact the company is posting losses will spur them to cut even more of their ****** excuses for projects. See CCP's financials that where posted a earlier this year.
You might tell me to feel sorry for the staff that lost their jobs, but these staff where enablers to their poor management and direction the project had taken and thus rather then go out fighting just came in every day did the minimum and collected a paycheck.
Dust is the same way. None of the staff goes above and beyond, they are active to the most minimum amount in the community. And they ran a total of 1 or 2 Dev observed games with the playerbase in the entire history of dust.
I could go on but why bother, They are snobs who will give the most PC if excuses for their lackluster performance, some sort of Bs about turning it around or how things will be better in the future. Fanboi's would would never give up on dust no matter what the results where will come to its defense and hopefully Dust will be disbanded after a year or 2 more of floundering around accomplishing little of tangible validity. |

I hope someday, when you give something to someone, that person will just spit at you and destroy what you gave. Then you will remember this post and how what you throw in the air, comes right back at your face.
F2P ain't free their chief, I would rather pay cash upfront then support the free to wait system f2p has become thanks to companies like CCP. Companies driven by their marketing departments who are so greedy that they need systems with no limit on the amount of money they can try to suck from their consumers while providing a substandard experience for all. I hope someday if i chose to support poor leadership who clearly did not have consumer interest in mind with providing best value for the customer that I too was fired and left out in the cold, a deserving fate for turning a blind eye to ethical conscience and a deserving fate for supporting being greedy to the maximum. Funny part is these devs for all there support of such a terrible system run by terrible leaders influence by a no nothing marketing department, receive nothing but scraps from the table and yet are more then willing to grovel to their own bitter demise for a company that will throw them out at a moments notice, regardless of merit or ethic.
If my words wound you so, it is because they have hit their mark and you spend your days toiling and struggling under similar leadership at your own work place or have in the past, for that I feel nothing but pity for you, however your pain is deserved and self inflicted. Your own cowardice lead you down that path and your fear kept you there. |
