I am so getting that and putting some on my next coat. and then... never going anywhere near traffic if my scouting is to be believed. or take it off because I'll never find it again.
If you hear the words "WORTH IT!" look about, something hilarious just happened.

duh, I'm a mostly harmless prankster and I can already see a thousand possibilities for all the wrong things to be done with that stuff.
and possibly some improvements that could be made. (maybe they could combine the spray with the material they mentioned(read about it in a popular science when they were protoyping, pretty neat stuff. they made a car's externals out of it, only problem was it being pitch black inside because the windows redirected light.)

That would be funny if you couldn't see out of it.
They couldn't, the windows redirected light around themselves instead of letting it through, effectively becoming totally opaque like stone, wood, or steel. at the end of the article, the question was raised of what shining a flashlight inside of it would produce, results wise. never did get to learn what happened with that though
Seems like a trippy effect may be produced, because so far as I know, there exists no one way permeable membrane for light.
Would it simply redirect the light(basically, you could see forever, but at the same time, nowhere because the light from outside is being redirected around the object, but the light from the inside is also being redirected, like an asymptote in math, a point where neither can meet in the middle) or maybe magnify the light coming from inside like a magnifying glass, or possibly it could break the illusion from the inside?

awww. that invisible material stuff was real though. but solid, so I can't make an outer layer for my coat with it.

"Sufficiently advanced science is indistinguishable from magic." I have no idea where I've heard that, but it applies.
