The underlying philosophy of Machiavellian survival and heartwarming life lessons of these two franchises just seem so tailor made for one another. I can't help to think that so much symbolic expression about respect for others and the importance of friendship wouldn't be best served through the animation of a bleed out. The first time is was due to the big EVE microtrans/Incarna debacle and the second time was due to having to reroute resources to fixing DUST this past December. Its just a Microsoft dickmove style thing where MS held off selling the rights because they didnt want anyone else making money of the IP even though they had 0 intention of doing anything with it. Noone knows what deal was made for MWO but it had to a be freaking sweet one tbh. Still consider Dust different despite all of the talk going about. At least Dust is actively trying to be better but is having, or had hopefully, a rough time going about it.
