Male and Female frames have the same size hit box. The only thing that changes it is the size of the actual frame.

I wasn't going to be that guy, but fine, you broached the topic so here's why:
To me it's a feminist statement. There's nothing inherently superior or inferior about selecting "female" on the character creation screen, or in real life, you colossal *******. I'll wipe the floor with you regardless.

First, we see him try to appear manly by talking about muscle cars and saying he doesn't play videogames very often, in an attempt to save face.
This is his attempt to get him leverage. He thinks it makes him look big and strong.

Then he tries to make up some reason (people pretending to be girls in an attempt to scam ISK), even though this old MMO tradition doesn't happen very often anymore and has never really happened much in EVE or Dust. He probably just recalled some information about some time this happened in a different game, that he read on some obscure website a few years back and attempted to make a connection to Dust.

Then he he goes on a small homophobic rant, comparing homosexuals to child molesters.

Comes on the interwebz and calls other players pansies and pervs for choosing a female avatar. Tries to claim manliness by talking about one of the most generic 'cool cars'.
