I Love cloaks, I think they are a great addition to the game and keeps you on your toes.
But I fear they will be nerfed by the QQ on he forums. Why?
Cause of Guys like this.
Would be nice if he became visible after killing me as he is supposed to.
But Glitchers only have one way to win I suppose.

If you had backed up until you had support that wouldn't have happened. You could have fired that MD from on top of the rails above you (at the top of stairs) and fired down on him as he came out to get you, then pushed ahead once support arrived.
Not trying to tell you how to play, but why that clack worked against you, and how you could've prevented it without a nerf. |

What it looked like to me is he disappeared from your FOV as you predicted his path wrong. Yes he probably still killed you before full decloak, but you were screwed anyway. Also since you clearly saw him coming while cloaked, your point is kind of moot anyway. The cloak had zero contribution to your death. |

I knew I was dead when he ran at me. Doesnt bother me that I died to a cloaked player. What bugs me is that he didn't decloak. So having backup wouldn't really have helped. Since he is hard to see. Uncloaking when he switched as CCP said would happen would have meant that he would have then been visible to any back up.

If you had said backup, they would of seen a shimmer turn you into a ragdoll then a de-cloaked scout running away. Yes the delay is an issue, but in both of your posts the cloak is really a non-issue for those situations. Plus if you had the backup, odds are he wouldn't of attacked in the first place.

Well one, you were camping so you kinda got what u deserved, two I m pretty sure he never glitched you cuz he woulda had to hack something to make the glitch work, he was just fast as hell and probably was uncloaked after the shot, now that you know that's how fast a cloak can shoot don't call it a glitch, it's how they work.
It's not like you actually thought he was being stupid and running to his death, you could see him and his intentions, thing is , he succeeded fair and square, he broke no mechanics, that's how the cloak works, not saying its a bit fast but in his case it needs to work like that, in your case it's unfair cuz you lost.
Even if the cloak stayed like that and u killed him you wouldn't have even made a video, just called him a idiot for charging you, but you lost, he out smarted and maneuvered you and you SEEN HIM DO IT, so even if he was not cloaked, you were dead anyway, so don't post videos calling something a glitch cuz you got owned fair an square, take your lumps fight another day.

The guy never left the tunnel. You shot reeeeealy wide at the end. 0:29 he just poked far enough forward to take a shot at you. You can see his arm in the doorway.

they don't have any viable counter except another cloaky scout, which is the other problem, there are just too many cloaky scouts in every match....
its obvious to me that the reason there are so many is because of how OP they are, that's a problem for the stability and diversity of the game, not to mention it makes running most other fits not fun when you know youre just hitting yourself with a nerf bat if you run any fit besides a cloaked scout....reminds me of the days the cal logi dominated the battlefield, except this is slightly worse.
this game makes me sad....
