I am flanked by a sout with shotgun and he kills me in 2 shots maximum. He kills my galente logi with one shot. I don't complain because the shotgun range is short. He uses his scout skills to flank me unseen (with cloak no need of any skills). if I see him firs often I killed him. I wish he kill me in 3-4 shots (I am a commando damn it) and wit 2 shots for the logi.
A scout with Nova knives kills me in one hit. How axactly knives will penetrate and kill a commando in one hit? logi or assault OK, but commando is suppose to be a heavy suit (very slow). Still I can accept it even I am not convinced it shoud be the case.
At last a scout with an assault combat rifle face me directly (not flanked) and kille me bofore I drop his shields. Few time in a row. I see him clearly he strafes very fast. I tried him with AScR and with AR (both skills maxed). This now is very wrong. a scout facing commando is killing him for les than a blink??? even a full proto scout facing a basic commando face to face in a medium distance shoud not stand a chance. Otherwise the game is TOTALY BROKEN.
now is the scout a scout or a very fast assault???
I can accept assault to kill commando face to face as it is ment to kill. this is his main role to kill. also commando. commando is havier and assault faster. But scout vs commando??? Are you kidding me???
The combat rife is OP and espacially the assault combat rifle. This is a fact. but is there also something wrong now with the scouts? I thing yes. The worst game I've played was agains a full team of scouts and we had scouts logis, assaults and heavies. That means no need of other roles when there are scouts. now hey are very effective assaults and logis.
Nova Knives have literally no range; you can only do damage within 1 meter and you can easily back pedal that and avoid getting killed. Furthermore NK are really only good for Minmatar scouts who get the damage bonus. You say shotguns are fine for their purposes of flanking and effectively taking you down however the NK are just the same, it actually takes more work because they ahave to get within 1m , and therefore the reward is greater, 1 slash will drop every player except for heavies (commandos not included). Also if a scout gets close to you with NK unnoticed, you basically deserve to die, or at the mercy of the scout.
"One does not simply" look for a scout, it looks for you.
