Requirements
- Passion for gaming
Don't have a life. Check.
- 3+ years professional videogame industry experience with at least 1 shipped game title.
Heard you guys work with c++. It was my first language but I been doing alot of android phone work lately but I havea firm grasp of c++ and I have experience with both openGL and DirectX libraries. No shipped titles but I made an fps for my final in college. Semi Check.
- Excellent understanding of FPS multiplayer design principles
My record speaks for itself. Check
- Great communication skills with emphasis on working well in a team environment.
I have always been a poor communicator. I spend more time having debates in my mind than actually socializing. No check. :( or maybe I am just being self conscience?
- Possess a strong attention to detail and follow through on tasks to meet deadlines.
Well at least you guys are working on it. Yes I am a perfectionist. I cannot stop until I have solved the problem. Oh the pains of being a programmer debugging your code...
- Technical knowledge and experience with a commercial 3D engine such as Unreal Editor, BF2 editor, Q3Radiant, hammer etc.
I have only messed with the unreal editor and some other one. the name escapes me at the moment. it was a long time ago.
- Working knowledge of 3D modelling software such as Maya or 3Dstudio is a plus.
Been messing around with maya for years! I love taking front and side pictures of things just so I can recreate them. Maya is not my specialty though. Its more of a hobby. I am a programmer at heart. No experience in 3d Studio
- Ability to work at a practical level as well as conceptual
yup, as I said. I don't give up until the problem is solved. My persistence is my greatest asset and greatest weakness.
- Self-organized and self-motivated, proactively seeks out and shares information and solves problems
Everyday of my life. Sometimes I will post a good idea here but the forums are just more for entertainment value. I am usually out solving other problems in my own programs or projects.
- Flexible and able to adjust priorities as situation demands
Well, I am not gymnast but I will try my best.
- Ability to foresee and communicate issues during development
I am not going to say I told you so but......
- Open to criticism, knows how to listen and can work feedback in to designs
A blind man can never see himself for what he is, I will refuse to play the role of the blind man. Be honest with me, and all you will ever get is cooperation. I try not to have a closed mind and try to explore every possible detail.
