it's not a myth, its that pressing a key make makes the person move at full speed where as if I was to move my analogue left I would have to start at middle and pull it to the left which makes it accelerate. Keyboards don't have they accelerate because they go instantly to full speed.

I have tested this theory of keyboards being able to strafe quicker. My conclusion was no it doesn't, i have two ps3's and two tele's one with keyboard one with controller and the strafing speed is the same yea i get your acceleration thing but that all depends on how fast your thumb can switch directions. The thing which gets me is the turning speed on the mouse, i want that on my controller, i used to play cod on insane and bf3 on the highest sensitivity i want it on this game. Then i'll be happy.
