I did MMA and fencing, and still do a little of both. I have always played the counter, which calls for quick reactions and it is really frustrating to set a guy up perfectly only to miss because my reactions are just too slow. I feel the same way in video games now, I used to react first, now I have to hope I react better.
Because, that's why.

This is comforting! It explains to me why I find myself wasting more bullets on floors and ceilings than on enemies during a 1v1 firefight and why the MD is my best friend... according to this story, we all need a crutch after 24!

Those japanese guys are such hardcore gamers they blew their brains by age 19. Of course they need every crutch they can get now.

Same here, I wasted those years (my college years) on drugs, booze, and snatch. With not nearly enough of the latter lol.
