Just want to ruin everyone's day. The forge gun isn't Caldari apparently, it's an ore mining tool repurposed for countering vehicles and infantry. Just wanted to throw that out there.

Deep Core Mining Inc. is a Caldari corp though. So you're wrong, it is in fact Caldari weaponry.

Why do people give two flips to where their weapon is from? The only thing that matters is you have the end that dispenses the killing pointed away from yourself.

Wonder what led to it becoming a weapon, and how it was supposed to be used as a tool... some kind of fancy railgun drill? |

The forge gun description says it uses DCMI tech, which is definitely a caldari corp. ORE is a completely different entity with gallente origins. not sure where you're getting that ORE had anything to do with the forge gun from |

There's a short story somewhere about a group of miners without corp connections mining on an asteroid. When a security force finds out they are ordered to leave. Since the Miners savings and lively-hood was sunk into this venture they decide to defend their claim.
I can't remember if the Forge Gun was mentioned by name but they did go through every possible means to survive.

Also, you can look at the corp names of the proto variants-Kaalakiota, Ishukone, and Wiyrkomi. Those are the same corp names as the rest of the Caldari arsenal; Rail Rifles, Magsecs, Swarms, etc. |
