I created and used an alt for the first time on monday or tuesday of this week. It wasn't my first death, but I was shot from about 2 metres away by a sniper rifle. I'm sure they were cloaked because I didn't see anything, except afterwards I saw a scout with a gun bigger than themselves running over my lifeless corpse.. |

Don't tell me "i do good with them" Pubs. That is all i have to say to that. Snipers seem OP in Pubs. In PC(what's left of it) that doesn't do jack ****.

Start of a match and my squad mate got squished by a tank being dropped off. While I'm busy laughing, the RDV hits another incoming with a dropship. Which then proceeds to bury me under a mass of burning metal.
Instant karma.

At the las second of the match I drove my LAV (just joyride) down the hill and start barrel rolling... paniced and jumped out and died under the LAV, 0.4sec later VICTORY... and that was my only death in that match (sniper duty  )

my craziest death would be in closed beta i was jumping from the mcc and half way down i died, kill feed said i got melee'd  and i was like how the heck do you even melee someone with one hit in mid air? to this day that death still bugs me, could have been a bug at the time but who knows

Got Instant killed by an Advanced Assault Rail rifle while i was about 900 armor and 250 shield.
Damage received : 1175.
Time : Less than 4 sec.
Proficiencies are totally ****** up in RR and CR.
They are supposed to be Hybrid but become even more powerful than "specialized" weapons, with almost no drawbacks..... 
Seriously 125% Damage without damager. WTF ?
Hybrid proficiencies should be reworked.

I know I did this a few days ago, no cloak though I was just trotting around looking for a sniping spot and saw another guy sniping.

First: I'll say that its telling that 3/4 times I die, it's from an SB-39 Rail Rifle.
Context: FW with friendly fire enabled. Blood Raiders Saga with [yellow] missile turret
But the craziest death I've ever had was while driving an LAV (Saga) with a small missile turret on the back. My gunner was firing at something in front of us, we hit a small 'jump' in the terrain, the missile hit me in the drivers seat and killed me instantly.

most batshittingly insane death ive had happened this morning.
zooming away from an ADS in my lav, i cut it hard right, roll the thing depleating its shields, so i instantly eject myself so the ADS cant score the kill.
I launch my self straight into the air as the LAV is still rolling.
Splatted right against the ADS as its zooming after my LAV.
weren't even mad, that was hilarious

I had a tank fall on me from a tower. For some reason I looked up just before it crushed me. I felt like Wile E. Coyote. I also had a Bolus run me into the red line after I jumped from the MCC and landed on top of it.

No I wasn't sniping at the time. I was running towards an objective...
In a another incident I was killed by a melee twice in a row by the same person within 5 minutes of each other. My heavy dropsuit was must have been low on health coz it only took one hit each time to finish me.
I don't feel to embarrassed, I've also killed in ways I could never imagine possible. |

well i have the worst luck in this planet, so i have suffered incredible ways to die, but the most WTF has to be me as a scout killing an enemy forgegunner 0.5 seconds after he fired the killing shot on an ally dropship that happened to crash on me while i was sprinting, yep that happened, the planets aligned and god said, kill phazoid universe, lol!

Not sure if this is crazy or ironic. While driving I enjoy bum-rushing red-dots who are calling in a vehicle. The aim being to kill them and steal it. Last month is jump out and started a 1 vs 1 against someone who had a quality Frame and knew how to dance. Before I could kill him the RDV released the Dropship on my head.
That might be closer to poetic justice instead of irony.

In 1.7:
My friend said he was pulling out his Thale's on his heavy suit with no sidearm. I told him it was a really stupid idea and he should only use a Thale's in the redline. As usual, he didn't listen to my wisdom and spawned anyway. I spawned with my medic equipment just in case. (This was a domination that we were winning) We both spawned in an area with seemingly no activity while he sniped at the objective area. All the sudden, a particularly evasive Shotgun Scout comes along and tries to kill him. And you know what he does? He turned around, and no-scoped that Scout with a Thale's at point blank. I was amazed and we were both laughing too hard to notice the Rail Rifle Assault approach. We both die, but it was so worth it.
Both my shield and armor recover 20HP/s.

Calling in my Missile Gunlogi to do damage control on tankspam, I'll pause my map while I hide my tank in a city structure, and my tank FALLS THROUGH THE MAP. So the maps kill me? Happens a lot, I'm scared to push start now, which you NEED to do in a tank to avoid being flanked+ to sneak up on vehicles. |

During closed beta, my impact grenade collided in mid-air with a MD round in front of my face
This build, I ran up behind an HAV with my plasma-cannon scout and fired as it was reversing. This was timed so perfectly that the cannon round exploded in my face, killing me before the HAV hit me.

The bottom of a hill.....rolling along in my tank while engaging an enemy, I was hit once when I crested the rise, rolled to the bottom. There was nothing there, but my tank exploded and it said I committed suicide.....In this same match the RDV dropped my tank upside down. I also came out of overview upside down in another of my tanks, when I was scanning the map.... |

Craziest thing I died to would be an enemy tank being dropped by an RDV. I learned to look up ever since then.
Craziest kill I had was Rail installation sniping a guy across the map (Before the rail nerf) as he was jumping from his MCC. I wish I had video of that.

Doing a dukes of hazard LAV ramp, only to block an enemy railgun shot that was aiming for an allied tank.
Doing a DS flip, only to nose dive into the ground, bounce off with 1k armor, then an RDV spawns inside your crew bay.
Throwing a sleek locus to kill an uplink in 1.7, only to suicide, watching on your death screen as an enemy scout spawns in.
Throwing a Remote Explosive, aiming for it to land around a corner, only it hits a friendly scout in the head, unknown to you.
Guess who (edit) committed suicide in a public area?
Playing Peekaboo Md rounds with an enemy heavy, only to land what was to be his killing shot... Into the wall by mistiming/frame lag, and suiciding.
Running plasma cannon scout, about to lob a round downrange, when a friendly heavy stands right in front of you as you fire, causing you to FF damage him and suicide.
General John Ripper is my 2nd best friend!

Had a turrent fall on me in ambush. Thought it was a DS at first but when my squadmate stopped laughing he told me it was the turrent.
i was jumping out of the mcc in my "run fast droplinks" minny light suit and a bolas smashed me mid-air and killed me. It actually said akhomi cypher (bolas) akhomi cypher in the killfeed.
And another time i flew my self up onto a tower to take out some enemy uplinks. when i got out a forger spawned and started charging his gun so i started charging my forge. We forge dueled for about two reloads each. He finally got me on my third reload. |

A direct hit from my own plasma cannon/forge gun (happened with both). I was trying to shoot down a ladder at all the angry red ants that were trying to climb up it but hit the lip of the ledge instead, thus dying instantly. The kill feed said I killed myself with my own weapon and the death screen told me I had dealt myself enough damage for a direct hit. |

I knew a mercenary that contracted space AIDS.
SPAIDS they call it.
It took him 10 hours to fully liquefy. The only thing worse than the screaming was the smell. It was like cat turds wrapped in dirty socks on a pile of burning hair.
He left me a locker full of dropsuits and weapons, but the smell had already soaked way too deep into them.
I wound up donating them to a feeder corp. There's one for the NPE. Here's a Minmatar scout suit, don't mind that smell.
Anyways be safe on shore leave and never trust an Amarrian prostitute just because she says she passes scans. We skilled into scanners for a reason...and this is that reason.
We can pickle that.

I was having a epic battle with a PC user yesterday -
He got a shot off, took most of my armour and shields, was bunny hopping like a madman whilst reloading, I'd almost got him too but had to reload my HMG, he got there first, fired again and at the last minute, as he bunny hopped near to the wall, he blew himself up - my **** was lost.

I've had two recently stupid deaths.
1. I was running around on the four point map with the tabletop in the middle(on domination). I went from Charlie to Bravo, to hunt a scout that ran away from me. In between Charlie, that railgun installation that drops...it fell down on top of me, and trapped my character underneath one of the support legs. It didn't kill me, it just TRAPPED me. There was a red dot on top of the building over Charlie, and he shot me down to half armor, I tried shooting back, but the installation sheild stopped me. He took advantage of it and ran up to me with his Magsec, or Submachine Gun and shot me down.
2. Out of all the unlikeliness, I was running on that really open map with a Minmatar Commando, where the objective is out in the open between the compound, and the hills. I was running up to the objective, and out of nowhere this Plasma Cannon shot gave me a direct hit, and one-shotted me. I think it was a 50-70 meter kill.
Your face is something to shoot, so I will shoot. Don't be offended, I do it to everyone.
