When is the last time you ran your blueprints? Read the title, not talking about 'Toxin' SMGs or 'Fused' locus nades. Me, at least 3 months. I should just run those. No restocks.

In November 2013 I barely knew that I hate the Caldari and Minmatar Skineweave BPO dropsuits that I got from the swarm luncher event in 2012 for one day.
If you run proto gear, prepare to suffer the consequences. You've been warned.

I really wanted a covenant sniper rifle, covenant caldari assault and a templar assault, but I have a feeling that BPO's are going to be crazy expensive, so I'm trying to get used to the idea that what I have right now is what I'll have for the rest of my life... The funny thing is, I have more than enough isk to run any BPO equivalent and die 20 times per match without batting an eyelash, but I still would be willing to spend millions just because I like the color schemes.
I wish CCP would bring permanent color schemes. I would pay real money to look a certain way, but I just can't bring myself to spend real money buying expendable suits just for the colors knowing that eventually I'll run out with nothing to show for it.
I have 1 dragonfly scout suit 1 dragonfly assault suit 1 minmatar assault suit
1 thale scout suit 1 primordial assault suit
1 toxin assault rifle 2 exile assault rifles

I run a militia BPO plate and repairers on a couple of fits. I have no skills in reppers, so it's quite helpful.
Also have a BPO dampener that I used to use to get my scout under proto scanners, but is now next to useless.

I am currently running full blueprint suites (including modules) Got dirt broke when the respec happened, and blew all ISK on skill books and their corresponding suites When I reach 10M I will switch back to the proper stuff.

For BPO's I usually run my SVER logi, militia plate, and militia CPU upgrade in pubs. Never been a big fan of proto stomping.

The sad part is, I own almost every BPO. I out grew them when I hit 10mill SP. Every once in a while I will pull one out to see if it still sucks.....Yep Back in moth balls you go. I just CANT wait for player trading. Want to start a new soldier with my BPO's.

It's a valid fear, during the sidearm event I was running a starter fit with a basic (non-bpo) scrambler pistol. I made about six million isk over the course of the event. And that is with a pretty lackluster end of match kd / wp score. |

I don't own any militia BPOs
I use and Exile AR on every suit except my Templar assault and heavy and I usually use a Templar LR. I use a Dragonfly at the beginning of every battle to get uplinks out fast, I use a Toxin SMG and Exile AR and I used to use the Templar UL but since the suit changes I have put two advanced ULs on it. 99% of my kills are with BPO weapons. I also use starter gear, a lot. Sometimes for fun and to practice my gun game and sometimes because I am getting stomped.

The Templar LR is nice I have been killing a lot with it.
I think you become a better player if you run cheaper gear (even if it frustrating sometimes). You learn how to flank and take cover to get the upper hand of opponents. I am actually amazed how many kills I get with my dragonfly BPO and Dren shotgun, a pure BPO suite. No brick tank, no cloak... Probably pisses the hell out of protos when they see the kill screen (let just say it's worth dying for )

So in order for your templar scramber BPO to have the same effect as one day of DNS farming isk... it would take 1.6 million templar scrambler rifle losses.
Watch your back because I might be there.
