Hi folks!
Since a little time, most of the major and strongest Corporations have come together into the same alliance (Dirt Nap Squad), making of Molden Heath an exclusion zone for the rest of Corporations, with out fighting between them, and un-respecting the pact that had been since the beginnings of planetary conquest in Oddelulf that was recently extended to Bosena.

This makes that almost no planetary conquest battles are being played, many Corporations canGÇÖt practice, and the Corporations from Dirt Nap Squad can make ISK easily, than latter they use to pay for prototype suits and weapons in public games, making very rust rating and boring almost all modalities of play within the game.
Its possible to conquer them a district or two, but the level they have makes almost impossible to defend them in long terms, no because they canGÇÖt be defeated in battle, but because the economical warfare will be lost standing the economically strongest all together.
The RESULT = Gamers get bore! lack of resources and training for middle and big corporations that are not in the mentioned alliance, that will lead to gamer leaving the game because it losses its sense.
What can I do?
We want to propose to all not to play with some Corp in that alliance, not any FW, Public or PC battles! Keep doing that until that Corp leaves its alliance. Its been decided that because of the number of players, time schedule and importance of the Corp into the alliance that the Corp we are not playing with is Ancient Exiles (AE).
It must be clear that no one of the Corporations that support this initiative have no bad intentions against AE or any of its player in particular, they have wonderful and not such wonderful people like everywhere, but if this is a game we should have fun all, been the normal thing than the must powerful have moreGǪ but not all! and without fighting!?!?!?
This is why Corps and player behind GÇ£Snow ballGÇ¥ ask all DUST 514 community SINCE 12th APRIL, PLEASE DONT PLAY ANY BATTLE WHERE IS A MEMBER OF ANCIENT EXILES at least during this going on!
Corps and Players that support this are:
ROFL (GAC, KEQ, Onslaught Inc, UPS, etc.) and Chacales, WTF, Valor Coalition, Maphia, Rebelion Ltd, Vacuum Cleaner LLC, LK, Dust Brasil and players from others corps as MiBO.

One thing I'll say is that proto has been around forever and everywhere.

DNS aren't the first, last, or even the majority of players running proto in pubs.
Leaving pubs to avoid people won't do anything and it won't really affect anyone in AE at all because how often does anyone actually see a full team of corps on another team? If a squad leaves then no big because the slots will be filled a few seconds later.
What I want to know is why people are so butt hurt about virtual land? Does it affect you on a daily basis or in real life?
Personally, I never cared about your virtual internet land so when something happens that makes people act like this, I wonder why they care so much.
TL:DR
If DNS holding practically all of PC makes you change the way you play games not related to PC at all and treat people like crap just because of their logo then the problem might not be DNS but you and the way you are reacting.

That is not what he is putting across. What he is saying is that with the way the game is, the majority of corps cannot play on a level field, and this is because of the ISK factor involved. But this is extended to public matches as well as PC. If your corp makes a billion a day for arguments sake then you can pretty much give your players an infinite amount of their best equipment while the rest has to continualy grind.
The reason people want this virtual land is so that they can make a bit of ISK and have a chance to fight other corps in a full battle, in an organised way without blueberries, in a competetive environment which actually has something to win or lose.
You want ot know why people care so much? simple they want to enjoy the full extent of the game, have competetive matches and fight on par with the bigger corps.

I do however think that trying to avoid them is going to do nothing in particular except inflate people's ego. Also the idea seems childish. Just play whoever you come up against, if its a good corp make sure you cost them lots of Iskies

there is only one problem with this statement from what I have seen from being a director in a top 2 ringer corp during the first 4 months of FA's life. corps don't want to fight other people and when those fights came along they hired out when there land came under fire, they either hired FA or they hired AE. and with the regulations on PFC it prevented any corp with an actual name in pc to attack them. 70% of the 150+ battles I have played in the last 4 months for corps outside of FA or OH(sometimes) people had no clue what to do and it seamed like they never fought in a pc before.
ps I also believe that just leaving battle will just make getting even more isk easier since now they can just farm pub matches

So now the only formidable opponents are not going to play us.

oh ... I actually have this to add - kinda an interesting side to this topic. The last time I was playing against AE it was in FW. From the get go I lagged out so hard that I could not spawn and timed out prompting removal from the game. I will definitely support the move and not play with them but I have to note that it's almost involuntary because of how hard they cause the game to lag.

Sounds like a great Idea.
Most of these corporation in DNS locked up districts for six months so they couldn't be attacked by one another.
Now they all join up in one Mega alliance to avoid any competition amongst themselves.
Hope all corporations not in DNS respect what OP has put forth and also no show any events these jokers try to hold.
Let them fight pub matches 6 on 16!!!!

To everyone in DNS, I just don't understand your mind set, in what way is it fun as far as game game play goes is this current state? Hamster isk ! Who cares about a makebelive currency in a makebelive world?
I loved playing against you guys in PC. It improved my game it learned my things that I don't learn in pub.
As it is now the game is boring on I have trubble motivate myself to turn the game on.
And I am one of those players that invest in boosters so CCP get real money to further improve this game.
Now I realy don't c any resone to do so any further.
I have scaled down/back to basic gear to get a chalange out of the game.
Yesterday I put on my PC outfit in pub... It's was boring rocking 20-1 awarage stomping ppl.
So back into basic for me
I will NOT runaway from a fight against AE or any one else.

Edit : most fun game yesterday was a 14-0 ( in a SG scout) game against a qsink DNS. The second my side got 2-12 THAT was a chalange and fun
You don't get it. you are supposed to not fight when they are on your team. walk in circles in the MCC if you want, just let them fight short handed when they are on you side.

Because we want the land we had fought over that "belonged" to you, suddenly we're the dark evil overlords that only serve themselves, did you ever think that maybe they're ruling all of MH to help me construct my vast panty dropper library, I just decided Oddelulf was the best place to put it.

Refusing to play DNS is counter-productive for a few reasons
1) Your not costing them any ISK
2) The blueberries that would normally rely on you for help against such teams, watch you all leave lke cowards
3) or if you stay in the match, then you leave your team mates short-handed.
You are ruining the reputation of your corps, giving DNS ammo to use against you on the forums, but more importntly your reducing the active player base more than DNS is.
You have to remember that most of the players in the game do not do PC so the actions that DNS are taking affects a small portion of the player base of this game

QQ... I was trying to run basic suits and Quebec United and Bullet Cluster was on the other side and they all ran proto because my friend and I are in ERA... QQ... I switched to proto and stomped em out... Nice redline pub match, sorry your pockets weren't deep enough to run proto once you were dying to a real player in proto.
GG to those on my team. You handled their attempt at proto pub stomp amazingly

Squad leaders mic in one channel with 1 extra dude for the count down. Extra dude does the count down and all squad leaders hit deploy to their respective sides. Confirm planet and district, repeating the sync if it doesn't work the first time.
I don't even run FW and I know that. Besides, it won't make things easier since they still have to join the match, to check the player list, to then leave the battle for the .. the... lol... snowballing.

It is more than that... It is just people who can't get their way and want it all given to them. Is it any different than when FEC hired AE to fight all of their battles against EoN.? Then they complained AE took over to much... BECAUSE AE just fought their war for them. Then they called EoN. back in to fight AE to take back that land... then we got wise and figured out that we are the only ones doing the fighting. Everyone else is standing behind the curtain trying to snag the scraps of our food fights. What if we are tired of fighting your wars for you? We took our pie and divided it and we are happy... we prosper like we did before, but we prospered together under a combined banner. We made this ours and now we're the bad guys and people want to take their toys home and play as if we care. They will only do the same to you when you get land back... they hide behind WTF ringers to defend districts or make attacks... they hide behind KEQ and the remaining good corps to fight their battles... guess what... y'all are the new us and fighting against those whose blades were forged in fights you may never experience. How a CPM can make statements like this I'll never know.
Even the guys in the blue doughnut can see how cancerous what they did was to the game, to NPE, and to the growth of the community.
They claim wanting good fights but AE was too afraid of Nyain to attack them. This wasn't about good fights or showing the DEVs the system was broken. It was exploiting the system and using whatever excuse at hand in order to justify it.
How things should have been:
Nyain San held the majority of land in MH.
All corps and alliances fought for their districts. Ringing was done, but was frowned upon for being weak.
Fights were happening constantly....good fights. Hell pull up a youtube watch some of them.
The corps would self govern and when one began taking more districts than they could handle, they would get attacked by other corps and loose said districts. Such as Nyain holding a majority of land and the other corps coming together to take some back.
Here is where it went wrong.
Instead of balancing out Molden Heath, AE jumps in Nyain's lap and begins recruiting others into a "business venture".
It wasn't clever. It wasn't out smarting anyone. It was just exploiting the fact that there was no oversight to keep it from happening.
Some oversight like maybe a CPM saying "Hey guys this is kind of a garbage way to go about this."
But being smug is useful too.

What this will accomplish:
- Push DNS corps to move to FW which means that they will dominate yet another game mode
- Make the game more of a chore for players who you are asking not to have fun playing matches where DNS squads are involved
- Probably nothing as only a fraction of Dust players are active on the forums
All this really looks like is a bunch of children who are upset because they arent getting what they want and decided to throw a temper tantrum.
To echo one of Kujo's signatures, "your failure to plan ahead is of no concern to me"
Most of what is done in Dust and New Eden revolves around business decisions and what is beneficial for the corps involved. There are so many absurd claims circulating around that it becomes mind boggling.
Did you know that you can make more money by running militia suits and standard weapons/gear than most players make from PC payments? Players can make 20-25 million ISK a week running ambush with 5k ISK suits. If your corp has 100 active members then that means that you have a potential pool of 2.5 billion a week to draw from. A half decent player can even keep a decent KDR this way as well, even against proto gear squads.
CCP will never EVER be a socialist company that gives everyone a equal slice and redistribute wealth. They will give you an equal opportunity to make what you will out of the game. If something like a blue donut exists, it is because you let it happen in the first place and did nothing to try to discourage corps from joining it by offering them a better deal to join you. You have to actually have a sense of business and politics to exist within New Eden.
CPMs are not supposed to be the Mr. Rogers of New Eden. They are allowed to have in-game personalities and those personalities can be thieves, spies, and generally unlikeable. Their ability to separate those personalities from their real world ones and actually look out for the benefit of the game as a whole is what you vote on as a player. Anything said outside of the Council Chambers forum is their in-game personality. If you cannot understand that then I fear for your ability to have a healthy view of fantasy versus reality.
TL;DR - If you want to change things in New Eden, come up with a plan of how you are going to do it and work towards the resources you are going to need to do so. Do not expect players to self regulate themselves or for CCP to hold your hand. The only thing that acting like a spoiled child will do is convince people to treat you as one.

I just love all the advise given in this thread.
However, pointing out the obvious... only serves the oblivious. 
GAC came up with a plan that they hope will changes things in New Eden, it even includes how to grow resources to achieve the goal. The term snowballing is really a form of Crowd Sourcing that they are hoping to utilize.
The lack of PC attacks should be the only worrying part of this plan to DNS.
Otherwise enjoy the vacation, and try to keep your playerbase off the PS4!!

Not fighting your own battles was how this whole catastrophie started in the first place.
everyone lost MH becuase they kept using the DNS corps to fight for them every time oen of the districts was about to flip.
it seems to me that commiting to the same actions (refusing to fight when it counts) will not really help matters but only make them worse.
I suggest learning from your actions rather then repeating them if you want to solve the problem. |

It must be clear that no one of the Corporations that support this initiative have no bad intentions against AE or any of its player in particular, they have wonderful and not such wonderful people like everywhere, but if this is a game we should have fun all, been the normal thing than the must powerful have moreGǪ but not all! and without fighting!?!?!?
This is why Corps and player behind GÇ£Snow ballGÇ¥ ask all DUST 514 community SINCE 12th APRIL, PLEASE DONT PLAY ANY BATTLE WHERE IS A MEMBER OF ANCIENT EXILES at least during this going on!

The corps listed seem to play cheaper than the ones they want to boycott. I have no idea how being a quitter hurts the other side but I don't find it surprising that people think they can blackmail people into not doing what they themselves would do.
I think DPS should open up a few districts for people to play with, it won't hurt them. I don't buy the idea they are forcing CCP hand.
Because, that's why.

Too many scrub corps hiding behind the DNS petticoats - if you all hadn't blued up AE, NS and ERA would have wiped you all out of PC - then again.... it's not like these scrub corps actually have any land - so beat your chest about your alliance, but AE/NS/ERA don't seem to trust you to control a district. |

I can totally agree with your claim that there are corps in DNS hiding behind the big boys, heck I could even call out a few. I won't, but I could. FA held it's ground from what I was told from the bench against ERA, and RA for at least a good weak before they got the offer to fold. And DNS has actually given us the opportunity to hold land. FA recently flipped a PX1 district on their own wallet with clone packs (I wasn't there I don't fight PX1), I believe Kain said we could keep the district, yet Zatara refused.... vehemently.
Again, I'll agree with you on the weaker corps in DNS hiding behind the big dogs. But the fact of the matter is, that the ratio of corps outside to inside the alliance hiding behind the big boys was much larger on the outside than it was in.
I'd like to see a PC revival with a lot of new corps, but the fact of the matter is that, if you looked at the starmap before all this, the only corps that held land were corps that did nothing but call in other corps to fight their own fights. Ask yourself why should people own land if they aren't willing to fight for it? |
