Been running Mass Driver Since Early Chrome. Its changed alot but the new Dmg and Hit detection feels better then it was in 1.7
I recommend the standard version (Exo-5 or Freedom) Unless you want to hold down a location and your just spamming shots or still not used to the angles you want to go with the assault for bigger AoE. Elevation is huge also gotta stay on top of people like buildings or hills to really get the best hit detection.
What is the use of fighting if you haven't got a tolerable planet to fight over?

I don't record myself sorry lol, and yes its definetly much better especially once u get proficiency points in it just like any other weapon! I got Prof 5 and its a huge difference vs armor dmg.

Oh god yes. You don't even need to hop around. Point at any MD user and you will kill them before they get their third shot off. Most definitely not a noob tube. Takes considerable skill to be really effective with it. Anyone can lay down blanket spam to AoD an area. Winning 1v1 is what takes practice.
True Story, thats why i love my Min Commando, If im on level ground i pull out my Combat Rifle and lay waste. U really hafta use the Mass Driver as a high Vantage point, surprise attack weapon and mostly used for point control.

You'll lose 1v1 90% of the time due to being out DPS'd. Unless you flux them first. This is why the flux is the MD's bff.
Yah Flux + MD combo is a must unless ur running a Min Commando for sure.
