CCP. we need to talk. CPM. we need to talk.
Dust514 as it stands is a very weak game. There is almost a point where DUST becomes repetitive. public matches serve no real porpouse, and even FW battles have a very minute effect in EvE. You killed it in the update that was supposed to support it. I mean seriously, what the actual ****? Why hasn't anyone fixed this? Planetary conquest is almost stupid, with one alliance controlling 95% of the districts ( put a cap on that, seriously. NOW). we are completely isolated in the merc quarters, and subjected to no tactical interaction on the battlefield. However, there is one tactic: shoot or die. That's it. not to mention scotty is in a permanent vegatative state, matching up people with lightning fast idiocracy. there are two (mediocre) tanks in the game: the gun'em down logi and the angryrugar.
So, what can we do to solve this? First off, CCP. you need to stop with the balancing ****. nobody wants things to be moved. you've seen all the hate for what you've done to weapons on the boards. It's time for a wakeup call. Make the weapon stats yellow files. Players will adapt automatically, if you don't keep adjusting. Next is Factional warfare. As of now, I'm probobly beating a dead horse. This update is final, isn't it? well I sure as hell hope not. Factional warfare as of now provides 1/2 the payout of pubmatches, when you have full standings. That is rediculous, and hideous. we need more LP. We also need a stronger connection to EvE. I mean what you have right now for FW is a pile of dog crap on an MCC. How do eve players find dust bunnies? A) they don't PC. how ugly this one is. you let one alliance bastardize the whole thing, CCP. you let one organization ruin the whole game for any other player out there. PC also has little/no effect in eve. I mean common, why isn't there any interaction yet?
So, CCP, what do you need to do from here? The first order of business is to scrub the game of bugs. Are you adjusting the game again? do you want bugs? that's how you get bugs! nobody needs a mis-firing forge gun, or an airzooka. once you have polished every major bug from the code, get to work on content. we (players) want new things, not this **** you call rebalancing.
CCP. you're killing a good game. why are you doing this?

What exactly did you expect to achieve with this thread? There are dozens like it, and the vast majority of them can't even agree on what the problems are.
Then you made a load of incorrect assumptions. 'i want new things' - Guess what, Wolfman and Remnant won't be doing you new maps or snazzy new gamemodes. It's not their job, and it's not their skillset. The people who do that are working on that part of the game.
this post shove more words in my mouth than I can bear.
Q)"What exactly did you expect to achieve with this thread?" A) change.
S)"There are dozens like it, and the vast majority of them can't even agree on what the problems are." A)Oxymoronic, but okay. thread here,.
S)Then you made a load of incorrect assumptions. Q) where? i'm happy to fix things that aren't correct.
S)'i want new things' - Guess what, Wolfman and Remnant won't be doing you new maps or snazzy new gamemodes. A) okay...... I'm not sure i follow. The CPM's job is to bring the ideas to the devs.
S)The people who do that are working on that part of the game. A) hopefully the CPM could reach them :)

The template you used? There is very little differentiating your thread from a number of other idiotic threads bar some variations in what you perceive as the problem.
For example, you claimed that Dust was on life support from EVE and that EVE subscriptions pay for it. Care to back this up? The financial model for Dust is quite sound. Smaller F2P games have survived on smaller playerbases with worse financial models.
For the first quote, you said that you don't want rebalancing, you want new things. I pointed out that Wolfman/Remnant don't bring you new maps/gamemodes because that's not what they do. They are responsible for balancing and weapon design. Not bringing you new shinies, unless you mean new weapons and suits in which case they are doing that. You've just had half a dozen new suits and a bunch of new weapons.
For the second, the CPM do what they can. Contrary to popular belief, I'm certain that they are trying hard to do what they are able to. That does not mean that they can make new content magically appear. It simply doesn't work like that.
When you demand new content 'instead of' rebalancing, you show that you do not understand how this system works.
well, I pose you: Q) how would you go about trying to induce change? Q) what template would you use for this?
yes, the CPM works hard at what they do. I'm not sure they are focusing on the problem at hand here.

That is the result of research and development. R&D will always put you in the red no matter what kind of company you are.
noted.
But in the red is still in the red.
I wonder what R&D they were doing? I hope it's good stuff.
