I do not get this whole "You guys just want to proto stomp" mentality. We can just q-sync an FW if we wanted and proto stomp without the need to set something up. Are you people that foolish? This is a way for corps to try out tactics on against a well organized corp, there is no better way to prepare and practice for a PC.....eventually (I hope) CCP will figure a way to make WAR in PC worth more than PEACE, but until then, this is what we are stuck with. |

4 mill for a win eh? I can make 4 mill in the time it would take AE to get ready to fight on that day... 10-20 Mill per victor would possibly have something, but there's no cost benefit to running that.
Also, Planetary Conquest is not that hard... You call up an alt guild, have them attack a district.. reimburse them for clone count, then make an income...
If Planetary conquest was set up like this, it would be a different story possibly..
1. Attacking a district costs one clone pack less than the income from one lockdown of a district.
2. No clones are reimbursed on either side of the fight.
3. Defense and Maintenance fees: Obviously planetary upkeep would cost a bit of money, which would be minimal when a Corp has very few planets / districts, but increases notably as the number of controlled districts/planets increase. Why? because the more regions you own, the more transportation lanes you have to maintain. Thus this would add monetary strain to corporations that are reliant on a large incumbency rather than game skill, to control a large region of districts.
4. No-Show Combat: If the attacking corp cannot make it to the battle, or has to withdraw, instead of the clones for both sides simply being lost, a mercenary corporation can take the place of the attackers, at no cost to themselves other than equipment, for 2 hours after the no-show or cancellation is announced (2 hours after the determined battle time that is)
This will keep larger corps on their toes and allow smaller corps the possibility of getting into a PC match.

4 Mil takes about 2 hours to get in Pubs....I do agree though that PC's need to be more profitable to take and pillage than to just sit and hold. |

I risk less isk in pub matches and get a bigger percentage of a reward. Your offer is laughable.

I think this is a fair assessment as well, the event could be better thought out. How did it go last time? Did anyone actually field a full team to your full team?

Never asked, in any of my posts, for AE's ill-gotten PC gains. I don't want "something for nothing." I want Dust not to be Farmville 514; it is low-risk, high-reward and goes against New Eden's guiding principles.

I work 45 - 50 hours a week, my company has to force me to take my PTO days, so please go **** yourself. I understand the value of hard work. PC isn't hard work. PC corps have a monopoly on what is essentially a giant ISK printing press and you want to lecture ME about earning my ISK? I'll say again, go **** yourself.
