When is this damn bug going to get fixed?
Right now it's probably the biggest issue with 1.8 and is the cause of many issues including the frustrating Forge misfiring bug. We haven't had any sort of official response on what's causing this issue or when it's going to get fixed.
Can we please bump the priority of this bug?

It seems like the bug is becoming less apparent. And by that I mean my suit bonus apply faster after spawning though the bug still exist.
Regardless, this needs to be fixed ASAP.

This is especially hard with Amarr Assault and it's heat build-up reduction.
I'm not saying you should stop fixing minor bugs but I sure hope you have most of your bug-fixing resources directed toward this, CCP.

It's the same with any suit or passive skill bonus. When you spawn in, you're essentially a 0 SP character until it decides to update.
What this means is that everything ranging from your scan, HP, biotic, suit bonuses, weapon bonuses, etc. don't come into effect until after the game decides to update them. This is especially daunting for something like a Heavy as not only do they spawn in with 25% less shield/armor (which translates into way more EHP compared to a medium/light frames), their Sentinel bonus resistances aren't affecting them either. It becomes super easy to spawn camp.
I don't know about others, but it's extremely consistent with me. Doing something as simple as switching suits at a supply depot will reset my skills for anywhere between 10 and 30 seconds, and this is super annoying when you need to get back into the fray quickly.

i keep getting the bug were i reload my rail rifle go to fire and nothing then it makes me reload again. seriously you spend 3 months working on 1.8 and the game has more bugs then ever.

This might be a little late, but I've noticed that if I sustain damage, my bonus applies quicker.
I need to test this, but I noticed this when I went to flux a letter, I was a little bit in the bubble, knocking out my shields, suddenly, my hack was faster. |

Call me a cynic but I have a feeling we might even have to wait until the next fanfest patch to get this fixed. It is of course entirely unacceptable to have this level of unprofessionalism in a LIVE PRODUCTION ENVIRONMENT. |

I have a feeling you are probably right... I'll bet they are too busy preparing for fanfest to sit down and deal with this. It is kind if tragic really, considering were probably looking at late May for this to get fixed. |

If you made it to the null cannon, the time elapsed was probably enough for it to set in.
I've fluxed myself at the start of a match - did not work
I've jumped out the MCC without hitting the inertia dampener - did not work
I took a small amount of fall damage after it'd already been a minutes of playing - worked.
Seems more like correlation when there are times when it does not work.

i feel like the time for it to kick in is faster. they're probably plugging away at it.
maybe it's a weird bug to fix vOv. if it was easy enough it would have been fixed by now with all the other easy fixes, no? |
