Who else thinks we need a "dislike" button on these threads so these guys who want to do nothing but gripe and complain realize that no one really agrees with them (and yes, I know the people who are doing that are the same that DGAF what others think)? How about instead of whining and complaining and going out of your way to start a fight and call names with the DEV who is actually willing to engage you, talk to you, and reason with you, you actually come up with some constructive comments/suggestions. Because all any of you who are doing that (again, those making constructive comments, even if slightly argumentative, this isn't for you) are just making yourselves look like disgruntled jackwads who have nothing better to do with their free time then come on here and whine. If you hate the game that much, quit. Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out, either.
On that note, to suggest they are going to release a whole bunch of new information less than a month from Fanfest is just ridiculous. That is not how any business works. What is the point in having Fanfest if they are not just going to put everything out there on the forums for everyone who is too impatient to wait 3 freaking weeks? Good lord people.
To CCP Saberwing, thank you for your thoughtful engagement and willingness to engage us, even those who are acting like toddlers and deserve no response. I for one truly appreciate it and want you to know your good deeds are not going unnoticed.
I'm going to address what you said, putting a dislike button would just promote trolls to go through and knock peoples' likes down to 0, I know silly but plenty of trolls are like that even if they have to have ten accounts just to make others feel as crappy as they do all the time. (I suggested the dislike button on feedback before and that was actually the best reason why it should not happen) For people calling the devs names, this is because of high frustration, because of promises broken and for deadlines not meet or simply tossed out. Which is where the "soon tm" joke comes from when in relation to CCP. The other frustration is because
CCP does not give out timely information, it also
does not give out information all in a convenient source. These are issues and problems that have been talked about in over 10 different ways and CCP has yet to truly respond to them except that, "We will consider it" people have done heavy number crunching for CCP drawn up youtube videos outling problems and showing exactly where they are such as how to properly balance the Rail Tank.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FHy6CXWk3K4 The beginner manual that is currently available and stickied is literally work that people of the community did.
In conclusion I will not thank Saberwing or other devs till they act in a more appropiate manner when distributing information, this includes in game communications. Also, simple things like a tracker bar for events which would have been invaluable for keeping track of what rewards should have been and if guns were properly calculating need to be added to the game for accountability reasons. When core concerns for the game have been fully addressed, then I will thank the Dust devs by purchasing more product from them so that they can keep their jobs and I will thank them also on the forums in proper ways as well.
