I don't agree with the notion that we purposefully make the New Player Experience daunting due to New Eden "being a harsh place". Yes, that is true of the EVE Universe. But there is a balance to be had, and we want to make the game accessible to newbies.

I have to say this. Through all the bullshit and everything else Ive experienced tonight and previous mentioned days, that last line somewhat made it worth it. Thank you for responding to this thread, but I have no idea what would truly redeem this game in my eyes currently. Ive tried everything now to have a good game including running free suits. They seem to be the only thing i can get even a single kill with in the last few days. Its ridiculous. This event that is coming up I have a bad feeling about as well. It will mean i can get more experience but at the same time, I feel that every single player will be out in force with their squads jsut to "farm" players like me. And that is really what they are doing currently. Im a little mob in the middle of a field that has no chance against any opposition that has been put in front of it lately...
