Heck: Starting the event doesn't even cost CCP time. The scripts already exist. Also I couldn't care less about these few minor bugs which will probably be fixed by the time the event starts. Do you have all the other dropsuit upgrade skills on level 5 though? There was no need to max out Drop Uplinks for me so far. I didn't need proto uplinks for any fitting and was mainly using the Templar Dropuplink anyways. So there were ore important skills to spend my SP on. They're handing out SP faster than they're introducing content for it to be used on and players are already complaining of feeling like they've hit the "end game". Might be the pessimist in me but I don't look at this as good news. I think the most active and oldest players may have something about 50 - 60 million SP currently.
