Hopeful: - Player count expansion for matches from 32 to 48/64 - Medium ground vehicles - Skirmish 3.0 for PC and FW - Dust 'careers' outside of PvP (industrial, PvE etc) - Release of diverse map environments (ice, lava, etc) - Expansion of PC beyond MH
Would like to hear spoken about: - Expanding battles to full terrain with multiple battles at each of the three battlefields on each map - Combat on EVE stations/ships - Moving beyond UE3
One word of caution to people out there is do not expect this game to be multi-platform or going to the PC. So far, no game has really been able to successfully combine multiple platforms on the same battlefield (even Destiny will be segregated based on platform). Also, CCP has EVE for the PC so they want to use Dust to tap into the console gaming market. I doubt that they are going to risk cannibalization of a market that they are already firmly embedded in.
This.
I wouldn't expect a PS4 client for a while, the game has too many problems and lackluster assets. Why bring a game that everyone proclaims to hate over to a new platform? The development staff also seems too small to carry this out and keep up any kind of progress on two consoles. PC, I don't see it because CCP has said they have a PC game and they are trying to get into the console market.
I would guess player trading and/or market, a few new maps and a few new items like some more modules or a weapon or two. Maybe a new type of game mode and/or being able to call in supply depots or turrets. I would love to see a PC update that switches over to a system of hourly battles instead of the once a day crap we have now.
PVE talk and maybe a time frame but nothing released for a while. Maybe some EVE integration stuff but probably not much. I am optimistic but realistic, I think there will be some good announcements and some cool pictures but with CCP's track history I wouldn't get my hopes up too high because they take the long way and it takes them a good amount of time to get things out.
