all commandos look just awful, but it's a charming sort of awful, you know?
Commando has got to be the most in depth and versatile class in the game now that it's viable. I'm loving my calmmando with rail rifle + swarms |

I love being fat! MWAHAHAHAHA yes the Commando sucks you in doesn't it...... I came from the Assault suit and initially hated it.....until I was enlightened...... I think I was one of the only people to proto it out pre 1.8. It's like the master crowd control/support fire suit. I like the play style. If you take up a good position you can do amazing zone control with it. Definitely a fan. I often like to tell guys who I play with that a single Amarrian Commando with a lasers can lock down entire objectives single handedly. As soon as Aero told me to take a step back from my normal attack, flank and gank style, the Commando became my go to dropsuit.
I went against aero yassavi in his laser rifle suit. I almost killed him while he was out of position, but he reappeared out of my range and fried my shields.

Also MD is even better then 1.6 im loving it! dont swarms go with cal commando? i need to make sure before spending my sp.
Calmmando doesn't benefit any AV weapon damage wise, but it's a great idea to include even a non modified form of AV, just in case (it's either that or the situational sniper rifle, meh)
Minmatar gets the buffed swarms (for some reason)
Gallente gets the buffed PLC |

I seem to remember the commando having something around 240 melee dmg before 1.8, so I hope CCP is joking when they say it's a bug |

Correct, Amarr Commando always had 240 melee damage. When 1.8 stats starting to come out they changed it to 150 in line with the Sentinel, stating they weren't sure why it ever had more melee to begin with. When 1.8 released all the Commandos retained 240 melee damage and CCP never listed it as a bug despite people reporting it. I'm fairly confident it is going to stay.
