I love being fat! MWAHAHAHAHA yes the Commando sucks you in doesn't it...... I came from the Assault suit and initially hated it.....until I was enlightened...... I think I was one of the only people to proto it out pre 1.8. Oh come on, you proto'd it 3 days before 1.8 and mainly to look cool in the warbarge for awhile. And once 1.8 came around and your points got refunded you didn't even immediately go back to it
But now I shall stop giving you a hard time. I'm really glad to have gotten someone hooked on Amarr commando gameplay.

Weren't all the other commandos originally just 150 melee and the Amarr commando was bugged with 240 still? Yet now they're all 240 melee. In the "Known issues" thread I reported that the Amarr commando had 450 armor instead of the 480 it was supposed to have as well as 240 melee instead of the 150 it was supposed to have, and all they added to the list was the 480 armor thing.
Haven't heard anything official, but it sure seems like CCP has changed their mind and decided to let commandos keep the 240 melee.
Amarr are the good guys.

Correct, Amarr Commando always had 240 melee damage. When 1.8 stats starting to come out they changed it to 150 in line with the Sentinel, stating they weren't sure why it ever had more melee to begin with. When 1.8 released all the Commandos retained 240 melee damage and CCP never listed it as a bug despite people reporting it. I'm fairly confident it is going to stay.
