I tried looking up more info about armor repair, but all I find are people complaining how ineffective it is.
I'm interested in finding out just how effective it measurably is when it's boosted to level 5 in each tier.
Is it really +%25 to 1, 2, and 3hp/s? How does that make a difference? |

The repair speed can be 5+25% = 6,25 dps for the proto module. Take two of those and it's a lot of armor repping. The benefit of amor rep vs shield is that there is no delay. It functions when your in battle getting shot at.
Depending on your fit it can be helpfull. I run a caldari heavy with a advanced rep skill lvl 3. My shields fill up very fast and the armor rep is slow but steady. Gets nice kill streaks when your on a roll. |

So I take from the thread subject line, that you are talking about armor repair modules and not the repair tool. I also guess that you are looking at either the passive repair on a suit (ie. gallente scout) or the reactive armor's repair because you are asking the specific 1hp repair that would be on either of those.
Now on 1hp, level 5 would not do anything noticeable. But if you where talking about 4hp/s then you would have enough for the bonus to be noticed. And yes, it does keep track of tenths of hp when repairing, so 1hp/s means 1.05hp/s for level 1.

You're right to assume I meant the repair modules. My mistake. I was taking the numbers off the top of my head.
You did say tenths and then note a significant figure to the hundredths. I'm assuming you meant hundredths. This is especially insightful to me. Thank you. |

When your making a fit and you dont select any module you can see in the overview how quick your repair rate is. Its given in hundreths.

Anyone who says armor repairers are useless hasn't tried a Gallente scout with three complex armor repairers.
That thing reps at 21.75 hp/s, it's insane.
