Even if it means an adjustment to the damage please bring back the RoF.
The scrambler pistol nerf made me not give 2 ***** about this event thanks to constant deaths when I pull the trigger 3 times to fire once.
Please post +1 if you feel like this unnecessary nerf needs to be undone. |

Damn straight. I was just getting into using them and was getting pretty good. Now with the ROF change it seems like a completely different gun. Also CCP fix the damn problem with assault FORGE GUNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Honestly I like the ROF nerf for the CAR-9. It was frickin unstable in 1.7 now it's just perfect. |

I used to use the laser rifle for long range, and the scrambler pistol for close range. I don't know what the hell I'm supposed to use as a sidearm now. The Ion pistol? No.
If this game was fun, I wouldn't be playing it.

It just takes some getting used to - I remember struggling when I first moved over to the breach all those many months ago but quickly realised that the slower ROF made me take the time to aim better and I got a LOT more headshots that way.
The ScP is still by far the best sidearm - if you were to do anything to buff it in any way at all, you'd have to do the same for every other sidearm. I'm looking at you flaylock and ion pistols ;)

I honestly am kinda enjoying the ScP just as much, if not more now. Yes, the RoF got nerfed and when I heard about it, I was flipping out, but CCP, for once, actually didn't just pile drive a weapon into the ground when they nerfed it. It got ammo buffs on both accounts as well as range buffs, so it balanced out nicely.
Still, I don't think there's any reason to use the standard ScP's as the assaults still beat them out if every regard except for a tiny fitting cost... 
Nova Knives are OP! Nerf em before you lose all your proto suits!

If you want the old RoF back, perfect the rhythm of firing after the round leaves the chamber instead of spamming the trigger. Listening to the sound of properly timed shots becomes second nature if you are consistent enough. This way, you can keep visuals on your target. |

Yes cause that is what I want to do when I have a scout bouncing around in front of me spamming combat rifle rounds at almost 5 times the RoF.
This game has become nothing more than hold down the trigger and wait for aim assist to latch on and it is disappointing.
Un-nerf the ScP and un-nerf the Tac AR. People that want to use single fire weapons should have a choice in weapons.
STOP LETTING THESE TURBO CONTROLLER *** HATS RUIN **** FOR EVERYONE.

Scp is fine. It was probably the most OP gun before the nerf. I'm shocked it took as long as it did. Sidearms should not be as good as primary weapons. The scp had insane dps with an insane headshot bonus. You could 4 shot heavies and do so in under a second.
Compare the scp to the other sidearms and its fine. Scp and ion are finishers with the ability to 1-2 hit targets with high risk headshots
The magsec and bolt are decent primary substitutes to use longside niche weapons. But the change time makes them ****** finishers.
The smg is decent at both roles but doesn't excel at either.
Sidearms are ridiculously balanced now. |

Signed, along with a DPS buff to the Bolt Pistol, a damage buff to the Ion Pistol, and change all Flaylock Pistol splash damage to 2m whilst changing the skill to increase projectile speed (it's a pistol, not a mass driver!).

I am an avid user of the scrambler pistol and I can tell you that the hit detection sucks. I have precisely hit head shots countless times that were not registered as head shots. The high ROF makes this weapon a viable contender. Without it, you're a sitting duck.

Laser & magsec are a great combo.
On topic, scrambler pistols are amazing especially breach and burst variants.
