Currently i'm just a gallante, but the minmatar scout has the shields and more assassinate like missions, while the gallante has a cowardly spy thing going on. The minmatar has so much more activity, but then again i could put shields on my gallante and still have 00.01 less speed than a minmatar, although i wouldn't have that insta-kill with nova knives.

Gallente for eWar. Much better load out if you like lows(the better scout slot)
People really wanna get the GalScout nerfed, they also have there sights on the shotgun and cloak. I say, screw it, and go green.

Gallente is a great Cal Scout/Medium Frame hunter. A squad of Cloaked Shotgun Gal Scouts can wreck face. Invisible to everyone while being able to see everyone(minus other Gal Scouts). A thinking man's suit unless you brick tank then you just suck :P
My favorite fitting on my main - ADV eWAR Gal Scout:
2x Complex Precision Enhancers
1x Complex Damp
2x Complex Range Amps (OR - 1x Complex Range Amp & 1x Complex Kincat)

Locus Grenade Yeah, it annoys me when people are referring to Gal scout as 'EZ mode' and needs nerfing. It's really the ability to brick tank which is the issue (for all Gal frames - just as when shields were 'OP' cal frames were the FoTM...). @ Smooth - if you're already considering Min scout, I can't imagine you'd feel the brick tankability of Gal scout to really be a 'pro' - You'll lose way too much speed and only have the base passives in terms of Ewar and at that point it's pretty much an assault with bonuses to flanking. I've always been Gal - I'd go Min, but since I rarely play anything but STD, the slot config the pg/Cpu stuff is a major issue for me - I have to rock a CPU mod to fit my complex Ewar mods on a STD gal scout. Once I get proto links, I've got a fit that needs a CPU and PG mods. Throw in the fact I don't use knives, min scout looks less appealing. The prevalent med frame mindset leads many to think low slots = armour and high slots = shields (/damage mods) but for scouts especially those low slots are really way more versatile than highs (until CCP broadens the game a bit). Basically, if you use NK and are comfortable enough with the (hopefully current) grid resources - just go Min and be the most badass scout you can be.
You know i don't brick tank, and its why i'm suggesting skilling into the minmatar.

I agree about the profile dampening thing, you're too fast for them to even catch you, how many kinetics do you run?
