It already has a counter. It's called a cloak. They may show up on Radar, but still hard to see with the naked eye.
Also, a scanner doesn't protect you in the slightest from the scouts (or anyone else) from shooting at you. Dampeners and the cloak however certainly prevent people from shooting at you by virtue of not knowing where the hell you are located.
It makes the scout close to god-mode invulnerability. You people complained with your shrill tremolous voices how tanks were "god mode" because you practically couldn't hurt them. How hypocritical of you to propose that scouts should be pretty much the same thing (but rather than having impenetrable protection you propose that they should be virtually invisible to everything).
If cloaked scouts shouldn't have a counter, then neither should my tanks. |
