Now I don't know about you, but today I was against a team who called themselves "Famous Amarr Geared Soldiers" and they were spawn trapping the clones out of us. Being a highly skilled LAV driver, I easily avoided the orbital, swarms, HAV's, and proximity mines and zoomed towards object. I quickly jumped out and started hacking to hopefully get them out of my teams base. But before the hack was even done the MCC was already destroyed!!! I've sacrificed my ultimate LAV and took down 3 gaurds just to lose!?!? The missiles shouldn't be continuing if someone is hacking them! It makes all hope of turning the tide of battle impossible..

If they didn't keep firing whilst hacked, the game would take forever. Since that's usually the state most null cannons are in for the majority of the match.

cant would cause matches to run way way to long, the defender should have the advantage, it makes losing points have a real immediate effect and it makes control over time far more valuable then bursts of capture.
basically it puts more reward on teams that can hold ground and have staying power more then on teams who are nothing but flash. |

I agree. Don't care for domination much anyway, and it's annoying to have your hard-fought effort be undone because of a hidden timer.

It'd be better to just change to a better mechanic alltogether. This hacking obj circus is getting ridiculous.

I thought this was about those annoying missiles installations that just keep shooting until it's either destroyed or someone hacks it. All I hear is TSH! TSH! TSH! It's the most annoying and deafening sound in this game. |

Typically the objectives are being hacked or turning over for about...50% of the game time.
If a match was 15 minutes long, that would add 7.5 minutes. BUT that new 7.5 minutes would also have the same hacking turnover ratio approximately because of the teams being the same,or about the same. Thus that would add another 3.75. minutes approx... well it would pattern up like that so the total added time would be about... 12-13 minutes extra..
Now look at that: 15 minute games now become 27-28 minutes long! That's almost twice the original game length.

Just do the sabotage game mode from mag. Have an attacking side and a defending side rather than neutral points and have a time limit on matches. |

Not sure about during but after the hack is initiated a brief pause whilst firing would be nice, before it flips to the enemy team or the hack is stopped.

This would give the team a small advantage if the other team is spawn trapping or finally secured objective after long firefight. besides, there's still the available clones.

The hack takes about 30 seconds or so to complete. Until the points come up on your screen, the hack isn't done.

In the real world " which this game far from grasps, but tries to mimic" battles do not stop. The kill feed keeps going until you get back to merc quarters. At any given point, fresh batches of mercs are hatched waiting to either defend or attack that same piece of land you just sullied with your clone-juice. |

About a third of my games one side or other runs out of clones. This 'fix' would ensure that the drone culling is more important than capturing the MCC because the game timer would be extended. So, in effect, it will become another Ambush type scenario.
So for this reason I would vote No.
