I just wondered how many corps actually support their members. I hear and see many complaining about using starter fits because they don't have the Isk to run advance or proto constantly. If their are millions or billions of Isk going into a corps daily or weekly, can that not provide some help to the members? If so who does this and how do you support your members?
I left my corp because of a lack of support for months now because their focus seems to be in eve which is fine but what about us mercs in Dust? |

Most corps don't have that kind of ISK.
The ones that do...
Well. You can find them on the starmap.

I believe Axis of Chaos do. They're all about making better players so they go to lengths that other corps won't. I used to do the same in Foxhound Corporation and would even ask if players needed ISK but they didn't really need it >.>.

Your former corp's tax rate was pretty high for not being in PC.
But as Lorhak said, there are only a few corps that pay their players and those are getting paid because they are contributing to the acquisition/defense of districts in PC.
EDIT: Molon Labe does help dudes out from time to time, especially if they've been involved in FW syncs or some other form of training.

EVE currency and DUST currency are entirely unrelated at this stage. The wallets are separate and there's no way to send ISK from one side to the other.

There are some corps out there that run 95% to 100% tax rates however they are either a scam, troll organization, or a tight knit collective of players that are not going to accept an outsider.

We run our tax at 10% for the sole purpose of having a war chest together so we can pull the trigger on a pc battle soon and fully fund both the clone pack and our troops without having to go around for donations.
It's also used to encourage certain play styles. For the longest time we had a dozen tankers and not a single dropship or av pilot. Or if we go on a fw queue sync binge everyone will get a two mil allowance for the day top defray the costs. |

If your Corp has a tax rate they better have a good reason for it.

My Corp has a tax rate of 00.1% :) My corp has a tax rate of 1% and even then I'm not quite sure why we have it. We all seem pretty satisfied with the whole "Everyone support yourselves, don't run what you aren't prepared to lose, and if you need ISK ask a friend" philosophy. Taxes in a non-PC corp is just needless redistribution of wealth.
