Dust is literally this guys.......
An obscure fps 'linked' to eve that no one cares about. Literally, the end game in dust is Kain's wallet lol, no hatred there, its funny. I'd suggest everyone who is capable, download eve and find out for yourself.
I'm skilling my pilot to be a pro miner, then once iv got the farming mechanic nailed, I'll be getting OBS for min fw but like any decent hardcore mmo, I literally have no clue wtf I'm doing lol.

soo you joined eve .... well 1st thing you should not say is your a pro miner on the forums and that your looking to farm ! becuse every eve player that reads that LIKE ME ! That,s do,s PVP hi sec ganking is now going to look for you as soon as you tell us your Eve toon name. so this is waht i want you to do remove your post as least the part that tells us what your going to do in eve. and dont ask why this is eve its how things are if your new.
If I could have it my way, eve would run the show and we'd be the mercs we were supposed to be. But of course your average dust merc wants to be some 'demi god', they don't know or understand their place as merc in new eden., we are owned entities lol.
Game won't get good until CCP puts dust in its place, granted the whole lobby experience will get better but on the whole, this games going anywhere until eve pilots run the show and I stand by that firmly.

Forget mining, you can make more with a frigate doing fw plexes. If you want to better understand the game mechanics run ALL the tutorials and the Sister of eve epic arc. Mining is one of the worst way to make isk as a new player.
Thanks, I'll figure it out. I'm doing the tutorial regardless of how insulting some of the tips are ie how to loot..........

I'm having navigation problems on my laptop, it cost -ú750 quid so it runs eve at full settings but is it very important to get a mouse?, I can't find the key bindings screen so I can't zoom etc and my laptop keyboard shortcuts are skew whiff a little.

DUST is far from feature-complete, with core mechanics still being worked on as well as core content yet to be implemented, and the majority of New Eden's core features are yet to be implemented into the beta client so far. Elements of the social aspect of New Eden have been finding their way into DUST slowly ever since the game was in closed beta. The political side has seen its beginnings with basic Corp functions being incorporated into the game, but these are still limited in scope compared with the tools available on the EVE client. The financial aspect is currently only being simulated by the dev-controlled marketplace, instead of being a truly player-created experience worthy of New Eden.

Which is precisely one of the things that was supposed to be happening in dust and precisely why this game will never get much better until its on the ps4 at least where there's decent software and hardware, at least.
