When I'm theory crafting a new suit, it's nice to see the different sorts of kit I have on offer (I try to have pretty much one of everything so I can see potential set ups, whether I run them or not is another matter).
It's a slight concern that the items are not ordered properly, I know it's not game breaking or anything but it would be nice to have them ordered properly.
e.g you get the low slots for example, your armour is ordered from proto to basic and then enhanced, same with the other ones with minor adjustments, I think it's the same with damage mods - proto - basic - enhanced - militia.
I think it would show a degree of attention to detail to just have things sorted properly -
Militia repper basic repper enhanced repper complex repper AUR repper
Militia plates basic plates enhanced plates complex plates AUR plates
and so on.
This obviously applies to all weapons, equipment and suits too, I hope this is sorted eventually, although - again, I appreciate it's not that important of an issue, together with things that detract from the overall experience like a sound bug that plays throughout the match after your first death, or the male characters screaming like a female when injured.
Food for thought CCP.

Then I figured you were talking about your inventory on the left next to your dropsuit in the fitting section.
I'm pretty sure modules are organized alphabetically by type, hence why you always see Aur items on the top (they are "named" modules that have a ' at the beginning)
Yeah - it does include the suits as well, without looking at it right now I can't use an accurate example but I'm sure I've seen it before where it's not as expected.
I don't mean alphabetically in regards to the sort either, I mean in terms of skill requirements I guess, or maybe give us the option to apply our own sort fields -
Cost - Cheap/expensive Name - Alphabetically ascending/decending type - proficiency/skills required (i.e stuff you can't yet use/not skilled into) By tier - militia/ basic/ enhanced/ proto/ AUR/ Officer
