Yesterday I had a few ideas about new grenades that could bring interesting tactics.
- Blind grenades - Smoke grenades - Gravity grenades : reduce the speed and the jump height - Radiation grenades : temporarilly desactivate the passive scan, the intel about the enemy and the chevron above his head.
What do you think guys? Do you have any other ideas? |

Great idea, but what if the radiation grenade could also disable cloaks that way scouts don't rush in with them.

Flux Grenades are Radiation Grenades. They use Electromagnetic Radiation.
The Flash(Strobe?) Grenades are great tactical devices and really ought to be an Amarr Grenade. Smoke Grenades would make good Minmatar Grenades, and are another great tactical device.
Gallente could have Plasma Grenades that behave like a Locus Grenade, but with a Blaster Damage Profile and a DoT Effect. Nosferatu Grenades that drain Shields and transfer them to the user would be great Amarr Grenades. Shield Booster Grenades that kickstart shield regeneration would make for good Caldari Grenades.

Really cool idea, would also really benefit assault suit players and make the suit usefull in a team. Give them assault suits two grenade slots! And if you worry about granade spam make sure to increase the grenade cost per replica on the nano hives, draining the nano hive quicker.

I'd be happy with just fixing flux grenades so they clear cloaks (as they should) and adding shield-armour hybrid AV grenades (magnetic).
Duct tape 2.0 > Have WD-40; will travel.

Stasis webifier grenade for vehicles- reduces speed and disables fuel injectors and afterburners.
Flux grenades need to disable cloaks, cloaks are equipment and fluxes destroy all other equipment
AV grenades could be magnetic once they are 3m away from a vehicle, but, its not that difficult to hit a tank with AV nades

I want teleportation grenades, kind of like Ender Pearls from Minecraft.
They'd be Amarrian. When thrown, they teleport the thrower where ever they land and settle (a second or so after it hits something), but make a distinct noise when activated. They'd provide new stealth and infiltration tactics while remaining balanced due to difficulty of use and limited amount.
